1066. Corporacion Venezolana de Guayana

Dear Malcolm,

Located at Guayana City the CVG office building
resembles the form of a Mesoamerican pyramid with
its roof comb on the top. However this powerful shape
is constituted uniquely by a serie of sun-shading brick
wall devices, while another recessed structure,
concealed behind, houses the office and service spaces.
Old and new architecture are harmoniously
intermingled in this wise design.

Best regards,
R

991. Consejo Municipal, Barquisemeto, Venezuela

Querido Jose,

El arquitecto venezolano Jesús Tenreiro-Degwitz
fue el primero en introducir en su país grandes vigas
de hormigón tipo Vierendeel en su edificio municipal
para Barquisemeto de evidente estilo brutalista.

Saludos,
R
