Dear Jan,
Next to the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium built by Jan Wils, stands this magnificent showroom for Citroën also designed by Wils and still in use.

157. Amsterdam, Olympisch Stadion

Dear Hans,
The Olympisch Stadion designed by architect Jan Wils
is one of the finest examples of theAmsterdam School
architecture. It was built as the main stadium for the
1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam. The Olympic
flame was burned for the first time ever in a tall tower.
Nonetheless, the top bowl is known for local people
as the KLM pilots ashtray.
Regards.
