I used one of my motif designs for this t-shirt which I had printed at Zazzle. These same birds but on a background were featured on my 2014 calendar tea towel which is still hanging in my kitchen.

Knitted Blankets and Fabric Swatches

I've used the last of my knitted swatches into blankets, these were stitched to a fleecy blanket to encompass the loose threads on the back and also make them more snug. You would probably class the swatches as vintage now as they were made a long time ago.

And the first of my fabric swatches of the year. These were designed for the coral, mint, black and white contest, I entered the lower one and it didn't get far....there were 674 entries for this contest.

I made the stamp out of a used foam nail buffer block, then added colour with brusho and posca pens.

Two collages from my sketchbook. I used part of a paper bag above and the dresses below were made from a picture found in a magazine of vintage ceramic brooches.

Crazy Patchwork Apron 2

Another crazy patchwork apron made from vintage scraps. This time I stitched the pieces onto a used white apron which was probably a mistake as the apron shape is not perfect and there were extra problems with the straps already being fixed. Still it's done even if it is wonky in places.
