Morning Cuppa for King Bird

A digital collage.
The bird, cup and crown were free from the Graphics Fairy. The striped background was purchased. The doily belongs to me and the I created table.

Jug and Cup Collage

A page from my long tall sketchbook. I started with painted background [dye solution and the marks were made with bubble wrap, the type with big bubbles]

I painted a page in an old book, then drew on the jug and cup, and painted a few more features. Then they were cut out and stuck to the background.

Prague and Cup

I've just been to Prague, in the Czech Republic, it is a lovely city and enjoyed it very much. This is one of the views from the old Town Hall tower. There are lots of decorative and interesting buildings.

I also saw some unusual things like all these padlocks on railings.

There are also some modern buildings like this one known as the dancing building.

I enjoyed drinking what the locals drink a lot of - beer. Especially nice when you are overlooking the city on a beautiful day.

And to something creative - I was given a lovely cup and saucer from a friend for my birthday and this is a drawing I did of it.

I did the drawing on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and I used the Sketchbook Pro app.

Feathers in the Sky and more pages from my sketchbook

There were some interesting things in the sky yesterday. I could hear a lot of planes - the Sunderland Air Show was on - but I also saw these feathers in the sky, well clouds but they look like feathers. Click on the images to enlarge.

More pages from sketchbook 16

There were also a lot of bees and wasps flying around yesterday too, but I only saw one like this.

A Bird, Two Pigs and Bird Pig

Collage - watercolour backgrounds. The bird drinking tea was added digitally [bird from The Graphics Fairy]
The other pictures are traditional collages using glue. Both the pigs and the bird below were found images, but the bird didn't have a pig head of course. Watercolour backgrounds.
