Cut Work Book - Pages 13-18

The piece on the right is the middle of the left.

The settings were wrong for the white card so did not cut correctly.

Lots of errors on these two, the settings again I think. If I did them again I'm sure they would cut properly now I've had more practice.

Sketchbook 50
This book is for my collection of paper cuts. These were mainly designed on my tablet, transferred to the computer, then brought into 'Make the Cut' as a pixel trace and then cut with my cutting machine. The machine is a KNK Zing Air. I've used a variety of papers, cards and fabric.

New Vibrant Swatch

Spoonflower have released a new fabric - cotton spandex jersey, suitable for sports wear, t-shirts etc.
I decided to print this vibrant design on it, created on my tablet.
This is what it would look like in repeat.

Giraffes

Drawn on my tablet. I bought another book about drawing. The new one is called '20 ways to draw a cat and 44 other awesome animals' by Julia Kuo. It's not a step by step book about how to draw but it shows how you could draw the same animal in different ways. The giraffe above is my interpretation of one shown in the book.

Vegetable Drawing

My plan was to post a photo of the new TAST stitch which I have done but I didn't notice that my camera wasn't set right and the picture looked bad. So here is a drawing of vegetables to be going on with.

Flowers to Onesie

For the petals I used one of the 'inktense' designs shown last week [here]

I layered the flower heads over and over to make this pattern, then used it for the girls clothes. [baggy onesie]

Digital Ladies

Digital creations done on a tablet. The dress was art created in a regular sketchbook and the face and background created from scratch on the tablet.

In sketchbook pro I used a pen and the mirror tool for the face above, both sides of the face are the same whereas I used a pen without the mirror tool for the face below and the features are uneven [probably more realistic though rather wonky in this case]
The background was from a sketchbook, the dress [looks like a curtain!] started as artwork and was altered on the tablet. The face created from scratch on the tablet.
