Fish, Pattern and Cut Work Birds

The vintage fish picture is from the Naturalist Library, the lady from a vintage book of women apart from her head which I drew.
The pattern was created on my tablet.

I created the birds for my cutting machine, [KNK Zing Air] the bird on the left needs altering slightly as the eye was not joined to anything so fell out. I also ripped it a little when removing form the mat.

Cut Work Book - Pages 54-60

Sketchbook 50
This book is for my collection of paper cuts. These were mainly designed on my tablet, transferred to the computer, then brought into 'Make the Cut' as a pixel trace and then cut with my cutting machine. The machine is a KNK Zing Air. I've used a variety of papers and card.

Cut Work Book - Pages 19-24

I think the blade was incorrectly set or it became loose for the one on the right.

The design on the left came unstuck in places so didn't cut correctly.

The design doesn't show up very well sometimes on patterned paper.

The piece on the right is the middle of the left.

The settings were wrong for the white card so did not cut correctly.

Lots of errors on these two, the settings again I think. If I did them again I'm sure they would cut properly now I've had more practice.

Cut Works Book - Pages 1-6

Another sketchbook I have recently finished is to keep a copy of my designs that I created for use with my cutting machine. [MKN Zing Air]. Most of the designs were created on my tablet then transferred to the computer. I've used different kinds of paper, card, and the odd bit of fabric. Some didn't cut too well [learning curve] but I've still included some of them for reference. Sometimes the design was at fault, sometimes the settings.

If you don't know what a cutter looks like, here is a picture of mine. It works like a plotter.

I've also finished another blanket - made from some old machine knitted samples stitched to a fleece blanket. It's a bit of a mix match but will be handy.
