Yay, my beautiful Matt has been nominated for best supporting actor for INVICTUS!

My boy was out with his best buds, George and Brad last night at the Unicef Ball. He is currently receiving amazing reviews in Clint Eastwood's INVICTUS, which opens in the US today , but sadly, we will have to wait until Jan to see it. I know a couple of people who have already seen it and said whether or not you are interested in the politics, or the sport, you will love this film.

I've been waiting awhile to see this trailer, INVICTUS. This is a true story based on Nelson Mandela after the fall of apartheid and his attempts of uniting his country through the Rugby world Cup. This film is directed by Clint Eastwood, who is a genius behind the camera, think MYSTIC RIVER, gran turino, million dollar baby. And the other exciting news about this film is that it stars the always brilliant Matt Damon. Although the South African accents may be a little annoying, I will be booking a seat to this one, and pretty sure be watching them at the Oscars next year!

Just putting this out there, I think Clint Eastwood is a genius. When I got to go to Mann's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, I had my photo taken with one name, that was Clint Eastwood. That is why I am so excited that he has teamed up with my beautiful Matt Damon for INVICTUS, A look at life for Nelson Mandela after the fall of apartheid in South Africa during his first term as president when campaigned to host the 1995 Rugby World Cup event as an opportunity to unite his countrymen. Should be a brilliant movie, and is all set to be released for Oscar season. This means a release in the Us before Christmas and probably a January release in Australia.
