Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife of 17 years, Tish, have filed for divorce, People magazine reported Wednesday (Oct. 27). According to People, the divorce documents cited irreconcilable differences and were filed Wednesday in Tennessee. They have five children, including pop star Miley Cyrus. "As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family," the couple said in a statement. "We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers."

Stop This Madness

I'm out for one evening and I come home to find that my colleague has gone nuts!! Not only has she gone crazy on the TV theme genre (admittedly all fantastic memories) but she even managed to sneak another gratuitous Ryan shot in.
I'm afraid this calls for an intervention - and regular readers will know what that means....

Funnily enough, while K is being wildly inappropriate and getting smashed at work, I am spending the evening watching the HANNAH MONTANA MOVIE!!! Which means, of course, 2 hours of Billy Ray!

I am so glad K posted more Ryan because I can now post some Billy as 'Robbie Ray Stewart'!

20 minutes I will never get back!

For the last 20 minutes I have been trying to locate a picture of Billy Ray's arse to counteract the gratuitous shot K posted of Ryan Gosling. Luckily for everyone involved there does not seem to be such a thing! Seems that Billy Ray is too squeaky clean to have any arse photos on the Internet, that, or no one has wanted to take one!

I notice that K has tried to make her crime less obvious by posting a photo of Heath. This will not work K! Although we appreciate extra Heath viewing it in no way lets you off the hook for the Gos pic. You may notice that I have let a few go through to the keeper, but this is just too blatant to ignore. So here is your punishment....

Hannah Montana The Movie

I went to the premiere of this today -



Now I may be a Miley fan, in fact I love the whole Cyrus clan but this is a seriously fun movie. Even if you don't have a six year old to take as an excuse, go and see it. Disney at it's best with lots of fabulous country music thrown in for good measure.

Results Are In

The votes are in and counted and there has been a landslide victory. Mr Billy Ray Cyrus is beyond any shadow of a doubt HOT!!!

Now some people may think that sending an email begging people to vote HOT for Billy Ray may be considered cheating - I disagree. I just know that all those people would have voted, they just needed to be made aware that there was a survey in progress.

We also had a comprehensive victory for Edward Cullen who romped it in over Jacob Black. I expected this result but I still stand by my vote for Jacob and no floppy-haired vampire will change my mind. How on earth can you prefer a boyfriend who is freezing cold to touch and feels like marble, over a hotblooded werewolf with a cheeky sense of humour?? I think I'll repeat that vote after all 4 movies have been released. Jacob will no doubt pick up a few more supporters by then.

Hot Or Not?

I just couldn't let another day go past without trying to rectify an absolute travesty of justice! BILLY RAY IS HOT!

O.k. I agree that this was not his finest hour......

but you must agree that there has been a HUGE improvement in recent years.



Not only is he a loving husband and the father of dozens - ok, five - kids, most of whom seem to be well adjusted funny people, he has also turned himself from a poster child for the mullet to a songwriter and actor loved by millions - really millions - of children (and their mums) around the world.
Impressive Huh!

And in regards to the mullet - let's face it where would fashion be without it. He is a trendsetter! If you don't believe me have a look at these people who do agree with me....

John Stamos ran with a mullet in Full House! Uncle Jesse just would not have been the same with a short back and sides. And he's HOT.

Andre had Billy Ray hair for years and you must admit the mullet years were the heyday years. The little man got rid of the mullet, hooked up with Brooke and disappeared from tennis! Billy Ray knew best.


Our own Jason Donovan, (and Kylie, for that matter) used Billy Ray as his muse and I'm sure the screaming teenage girls flocking to a certain Melbourne suburb were pretty happy with his choice.

Even the beautiful man from Caboolture - Mr Keith Urban - sported the Billy Ray. Thank god it was only short lived!
It pains me to do it but here he is............

I hope I have now proved to you that not only is Billy Ray HOT, he is also a gifted man who has had a massive influence on our cultural landscape! Now go and vote people and make sure it's a HOT for Billy Ray!!

I have been scanning this blog to find an appropriate spot to say.... are you kidding about billy ray??? he may have changed his look and he may have hannah montanna for a daughter but he will always have sung and been in the video clip for achey breaky heart...and that ladies is as close to a crime as you get without a law to forbid it!!!!
