THE ROMANTICS is the story of seven college friends who reunite six years later for a wedding of Lila (Paquin) and Tom (Duhamel). Things go awry when the maid of honor and the bride clash over the groom, with whom the maid of honor was once romantically involved. The flick also stars: Adam Brody, Malin Akerman, Dianna Agron, Elijah Wood, Jeremy Strong, and Candice Bergen. Have heard really good things about Katie Holmes in this, and of course there's Josh and the delightful Adam Brody, what's not to like?

It premiered at Sundance way back in February, I may have even posted stuff awhile ago (if that's the case then sorry if I am boring you with this post) and is supposedly releasing in the US in Sept, but do you think I can find a trailer anywhere. It appears to have been removed from all sites where it was originally posted. Intriguing. Here's a kind of promo clip . Sorry folks best I could do. Katie Holmes has signed on to play Jacqueline Kennedy in 'The Kennedys', an upcoming miniseries about the dynastic political family, coming in 2011. Although she may be new to playing a first lady she is highly qualified for the job having served her apprenticeship playing the presidents daughter in 'First Daughter'. What a ripper of the film that was. (I have it if anyone wants to borrow it!)

Even more exciting is the news that the delightful Greg Kinnear will be playing J.F.K. We are loving Greg at the moment after is touching performance in The Last Song.

Best Use Of Extensions EVER

Thank god - Katie is finally looking her age again, and looking fabulous into the bargain - now if she'd just ditch the freak everything would be perfect.

Personally I haven't moved on from the Joey and Pacey days! I think the world would definitely be a better place if Katie and Josh rekindled their romance. After dating in the early days of Dawson's Creek we were then able to watch their characters fall in love and finally end up together, in what was by far the best show finale EVER.

Obviously I am not the only one who feels this way!!!!...... This photo below is definitely helping my Pacey/Joey fantasies - now if only Katie would wise up...
