The beautiful Dan Gordon-Levitt passed away during the week in the early hours of Monday morning at his girlfriend's home. By all accounts Dan and Joseph were extremely close and our hearts go out to him.

Joseph is covering the August edition of DETAILS Magazine. He is one cool cat!
On curbing his pot smoking: “When I was in high school, I loved smoking weed. I loved it. But I cut myself to once a month. That was my rule. And so as the first of the month came closer, my friends would be like, ‘All right, what’s the plan this weekend?’ And actually it’s really cool—when you do it that infrequently, you can really trip. In hindsight, could I have smoked weed on the weekends? Yeah. But it was cool to do it once a month. I still do that sometimes—I go on little weedfests. I’m a pothead. That’s my drug of choice.

saturday is fantasy day
So, we are running with a theme this Saturday......For those of you able to attend our STARS HOLLOW movie night, you will appreciate this post! For I do believe, we all fell a little in love with Joseph Gordon-Levitt last night.
The movie, by the way, was just gorgeous, Joe and Zooey divinely cast and the film quirky enough to keep it interesting. Good work people! There was only one moment, well actually 2, that left the audience gasping, when one line of Patrick Swayze singing 'She's Like the Wind' popped out of the blue. Ordinarily, we wouldn't have thought twice about it, but in light of his passing just a day prior to our viewing, it was kind of weird and creepy!
anyway, back to the matter at hand, fantasising about Joe and his uncanny likeness to Heath, (speaking of weird and creepy). You may recall them starring together in '10 Things I hate About You' Joe has been acting for over 20 years and you may have seen him in things like '3rd Rock from the Sun', 'Family Ties', and 'Roseanne'. (makes him 28 ladies)
So, enough babble, here are some pics!!! PS. Have also included a photo of the delightful Zooey, as I think I am girl crushing her!!!!

a little joseph for you
In the lead up to our Hollow night out, thought i would post on some sightings of the star of 500 DAYS OF SUMMER, Joseph Gordon Levitt. He was spotted ysterday on the set of his new film, INCEPTION, which also stars Leonardo Dicaprio and Ellen Page. It is a sci- fi, action, thriller vibe, not the usual Stars Hollow fare, however, great cast and it is aChris Nolan film. He is a genius, so no doubt it will be amazing. (think Memento, Batman) Looks kind of Matrixy! Interesting that Joe and Ellen are trying something a little new and different. Not out until mid 2010 but there is a sneak peek below.
Note: 500 DAYS has now officially taken over $25M US, making it a success!!! It's budget was $7M, not much in Hollywood terms.

Perfect Pairing
I get very excited when 2 of my favourite actors team up. In 100 Days Of Summer I get to indulge in an offbeat love story between the divine Zooey Deschanel and the very Heath-like Joseph Gordon-levitt. Actually I first fell for Joseph's charms in 10 Things I Hate About You which of course introduced Heath to a world wide audience.
I can't wait to see this...
