Our beautiful Alexis was at  Mercedes Fashion Week - with a new film screening at the Toronto Film Festival we may get a few more sightings too.

Alexis stars with Saoirse Ronan in 'Violet & Daisy'.  A film about teenage assassins who bite off a little more than they can chew.

April Alexis

April, and a movie to promote have given us some great Bledel action.  Lovely to see 'Rory' out and about and I'm looking forward to seeing her new offering - the remake of 'The Conspirator'.
Starring Robin Wright (Penn) and James McAvoy and directed by Robert Redford.

It tells the story of the woman charged with  being a co-conspirator in the assassination trial of Abraham Lincoln.

Gilmore Girls Reunion

Considering our blog is named in honour of Gilmore Girls you can imagine how excited we were to discover that, three years after the show ended, Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore) and Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore) have sat down for a NEW photoshoot and interview with Entertainment Weekly for their Reunions Issue.
They're still as gorgeous as ever and the video interview is classic Gilmore Girls.
God I miss them.

New Movie For Alexis Bledel

Alexis has signed on to star opposite Saoirse Roman in the film Violet & Daisy about two teenage hitgirls.

'The film centers around the young assassins who are lured into what is supposed to be just another quick, easy job. They soon run into complications as the man they’re supposed to kill (James Gandolfini) is not what they expected.'

This movie sounds promising as it is being directed by screenwriter Geoffrey Fletcher, who won an Oscar earlier this year for his work on Precious.

It's Been A While Alexis

Alexis Bledel has been spotted at the premiere of her new Robert Redford-directed movie, The Conspirator, during the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday (September 11).  Lovely.

Alexis was at the CFDA Fashion Awards last night and actually looks pretty decent - our Rory has been known to slip up in the fashion stakes so it is nice to see her looking this lovely.

One To Watch Out For - The Conspirator

The Conspirator is an historical drama about the trial of Mary Surratt, the only female co-conspirator in the Abraham Lincoln assassination and the first woman to be hanged by the United States federal government.

Our lovely Alexis Bledel stars as Sarah Weston, wife to Frederick Aiken (McAvoy), a war hero who defends Surratt and believes her to be innocent and believes she is being used as bait and hostage in order to capture the only conspirator to have escaped a massive manhunt, her own son.
The film stars James McAvoy, Robin Wright Penn, Justin Long, Evan Rachel Wood, Tom Wilkinson and others. The Film is directed and produced by Robert Redford.

Apparently just friends but seen together at the premiere of Adrian's doco Teenage Paparazzo! This is actually an intriguing story.

' When precocious 13-year-old paparazzo Austin Visschedyk snapped a photo of celebrity Adrian Grenier (HBO's Entourage), little did he know his life was about to change. Turning the tables on the juvenile paparazzo, Grenier stepped on the other side of the lens in an attempt to mentor a teenager obsessed with the lure of the Hollywood lifestyle. Grenier develops a meaningful relationship with his camera-clicking young friend as he attempts to reconcile their mutual exploitation. Indeed, Grenier puts himself on the line here, trying to make sense of his own recently acquired fame.'
