I completely agree Nicholas - and I know we here at Stars Hollow are more than happy about seeing the delightful Josh in one of your movies.  Personally I am extra thrilled to find out that Julianne will also be gracing our screens again.  I have a little girl crush on Julianne so I'm giving 2THUMBS UP to this casting.

SAFE HAVEN - 
When a mysterious young woman named Katie appears in the small North Carolina town of Southport, her sudden arrival raises questions about her past. Beautiful yet self-effacing, Katie seems determined to avoid forming personal ties until a series of events draws her into two reluctant relationships: one with Alex, a widowed store owner with a kind heart and two young children; and another with her plainspoken single neighbor, Jo. This could be fun...

THE ROMANTICS is the story of seven college friends who reunite six years later for a wedding of Lila (Paquin) and Tom (Duhamel). Things go awry when the maid of honor and the bride clash over the groom, with whom the maid of honor was once romantically involved. The flick also stars: Adam Brody, Malin Akerman, Dianna Agron, Elijah Wood, Jeremy Strong, and Candice Bergen. Have heard really good things about Katie Holmes in this, and of course there's Josh and the delightful Adam Brody, what's not to like?

It premiered at Sundance way back in February, I may have even posted stuff awhile ago (if that's the case then sorry if I am boring you with this post) and is supposedly releasing in the US in Sept, but do you think I can find a trailer anywhere. It appears to have been removed from all sites where it was originally posted. Intriguing. Here's a kind of promo clip . Sorry folks best I could do. I still think it looks cute. will keep you posted.

LIFE AS WE KNOW IT

No, this isn' t o do with one of our fave tv series, it's a film starring Katherine Heigl, the mighty hotness of Josh Duhamel (why fergie Josh??) and our friend Melissa McCarthy from Gilmore Girls. It actually looks pretty cute. Check it out!

Oh my Lordy me......what a delight 'J' has turned out to be!!! Here's a start....more to come........

When in Rome......

Last night, we went to Rome, via the Sun Theatre, and we had fun. If, when you go to Rome, you don't expect too much, you'll have a good time too!!

The reasons we loved this film are simple............




Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel! In equal parts! Kristen, so cute, great with the comedy and did I mention how cute she is!!! Josh, so hot, smooth with his delivery, and did I mention hot!!!! So the film is definitely aesthetically pleasing.

The supporting cast is a mixed up bunch whose characters are slightly too left of crazy to be too likeable. Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) plays a wannabe illusionist with a Criss Angel kind of vibe, Will Arnett (job from Arresting Development) plays a long haired supposed Italian artist, Danny Devito plays the sausage king (not of Chicago!!! - Ferris reference for anyone who cares!!)and Dax Shepherd, Kristen's real life love, plays an in love with himself model. These characters all fall in love with Kristen's character after she pulls their coins out of the fountain of love, when she is in Rome for her sister's wedding. Chaos reigns as they all try to win her affections.

I actually had some laugh out loud moments`, not too many, but there were some!!! Cue Kristen breaking vase!!!

We were most impressed with Kristen's wardrobe. She looked absolutely fanstastic throughout the film. And a few great hair moments also.


The script is pretty lame and cliched, but if you are loving yourself some Kristen or Josh, then you will happily switch your brain off at the door and enjoy this romp!


PS Josh why are you with Fergie, we just don't get it!!!!! you are so HOT!!!!!

Off To Rome Tonight

The Star's Hollow Editors have a movie date tonight! We're off to see 'When In Rome' and we're very much looking forward to it. When In Rome stars Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel, with cameos by delights such as Kristen's real-life fiance and 'Parenthood' alum - Dax Shepard. Visit my previous post for a run down and a trailer if you so desire but just know that tonight your editors will be hard at work for the good of this blog! (Shame it doesn't pay)

Seriously, Tad Hamilton is hot. Please don't try to deny, Josh Duhamel is a pretty good looking kinda guy. So seriously, tell me about him and Fergie. I don't see it. I love the Black Eyed Peas, and I think she has a great voice, but Josh and Fergie as a couple, not so much........

When In Rome

As you all know I have major 'Lady Love' for Kristen Bell so of course I will be taking myself off to see 'When In Rome'. The leads in this movie are extremely watchable and make sure you keep your eye out for the hilarious Dax Shepard, Kristen's real life fiance, as The model. I have a feeling this will be a bit of fun, which is exactly what you need sometimes.
