Where Are They Now? - Dean Geyer
Remember Dean Geyer? The Australian singer-songwriter and actor who came third in the 2006 season of Australian Idol? Since Idol he has appeared on Neighbours, and was engaged to one of the Veronicas.
He was also renowned for his virginity and his Christianity! Well now Mr Geyer has turned up on GLEE!!!
He plays series regular Brody Weston, a handsome upperclassman at NYADA who shows an interest in Lea Michele’s Rachel Berry. Nice work Dean.

Glee Will Graduate.
'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy says he's planning on replacing most of the cast of the hit Fox series by the end of Season 3. this makes a lot of sense as we don't want the usual debacle of following them to College which as we know rarely works (One Tree Hill being an exception).
Ryan believes the show should be true to a high school timeline which is a great idea. Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch will stay on as Will Schuester and Sue Sylvester, but unknown actors will make their way into William McKinley just as Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet did last season.
What a great showcase for other talented young actors - can't wait to meet the next bunch of Gleeks.

Chris Colfer's Speech
I don't know that Chris Colfer's character on GLEE is necessarily the best on TV but he is definitely a crowd favourite so his win was a popular one if nothing else.
Lovely to see him so genuinely thrilled to win the award.

GQ Glee Controversy
Ok I agree that Lea in particular is skating the fine line between art and porn but Glee is NOT a show for children and these guys are adults who are free to promote themselves anyway they see fit. They do not profess to be role models and quite frankly if you are letting anyone under the age of about 15 watch this show then you should have a re-think.

Glee Duets - Where Was Puck?
In last night's 'Duets' episode of GLEE our favourite school bully was noticeably absent.
The first words out of Mr. Schuester's mouth last night were that Puck was serving time in a juvenile detention center (hilarious) and would not be able to participate in the duets competition.
What happened to Mark Salling? Why was he absent from an episode that focused entirely on New Directions? And apparently he does not make an appearance next week either.
Rumours have been rife for a while that Mark Salling is so focused on his music career and the release of his album that Glee has taken a back seat. There was even rumours that the director was so peeved he had ditched Mark from episodes as a slap on the wrist. Whatever the reason I hope this is not the beginning of the end for Puck.

He makes a return in episode 6 which I hear is very focused on Puck's character, so we'll just have to wait for our fix until then.

Thank God For Heather Morris
The absolute highlight was Heather Morris as the hilarious Britnay S. Peers. Every line out of her mouth was funnier than the next and her dancing is insane. Watch this episode if only to watch Heather dance.

GLEE Sneak Peak
I think I can safely say we have all missed GLEE and are eagerly awaiting its return to our screens. To get you in the mood here is a clip that GLEE have released with the fabulous (and usually drunk) John Stamos in the Britnay/Britney episode.

Gwyneth Goes Gleeful
Glee has landed one of its biggest names yet.
It has been confirmed that Gwyneth Paltrow will appear on two episodes of Glee. Gwyn will sing and dance as the teacher who actually takes over New Directions for a bit when Mr. Schuester falls ill.
She may even be a love interest for Will when he returns from sick leave.
I can't picture it myself and as I'm not a big fan of hers but I'll hold judgement until I see the episodes.

GLEE can not come back soon enough as far as we're concerned.

Step Up Meets Glee
One of my favourite moments in this film was the arrival on the scene of the fabulous Harry Shum Jr - Mike Chang ('the other Asian') from GLEE!
It turns out he is a Step Up regular having starred in Step Up 2 - The Streets as well as various other dance movies.
In this one he reprises his role of Cable and although it's a small role it was well worth it.
Apparently Harry has some story lines to look forward to in Glee next season which is fantastic - can't wait to get to know 'other Asian' better and see more of his amazing moves.
Oh and here's his twitter.

GLEE Does Britney
On Ryan Seacrest's radio show this morning creator Ryan Murphy put to rest any doubts, saying Britney is "100% going to be on the episode," probably as the dental assistant to John Stamos' character.
"The Britney episode is so reverential about her and so kind and it's about her music and it's not about her personal life, and I think, Britney Spears is pop culture, and I think she's been through a lot. And I want to do something that just sort of says, you know what, 'thank you for what you have done.'" Ryan Murphy.
This is what we know so far about the upcoming Britney Spears tribute episode on Glee:
•It will air in September.
•It will be titled "Britney/Brittany."
•It will feature six Britney songs.
•It will prominently feature Heather Morris (as Brittany) on lead vocals.
Apparently Lea Michelle will also take the lead as the above photo shows her kitted out for 'Hit Me Baby One More Time'

Mrs Sylvester
In what is possibly the best bit of casting EVER, comedy legend Carol Burnett has been cast as the fabulous Sue Sylvester's nazi-hunting mother on GLEE. How fun is that!

GLEE News
"I feel an obligation to write more for people we already have that are great," the Glee director commented when asked if new characters such as John Stamos would take screen time away from our favs.
A Brittany-centric hour of television? How fantastic

Glee News
go ahead and draw yourself a mental picture of… John Stamos!
That's right - apparently they are closing a deal for John Stamos to recur next season as a rival for Mr Schuster. If the agreement gets made, bet on a sing-off between her two suitors: Though Stamos is best known for his TV roles, he’s also got street cred on Broadway, having appeared in such musicals as Bye Bye Birdie. How fun does that sound!
