I Want A Pair....

By all accounts 'Don't Trust The B--- in Apt 23' is pretty hilarious and although it hasn't come to Australia yet I know a few of us will be downloading it just to see The Beek in action. 

The Beek Is Back

A while ago we told you about a new pilot starring James Van Der Beek called 'Don't Trust The Bitch In Apt. 23'.  Well in some good TV news it's been announced that it has been picked up by the ABC and will air soon in the US. 
James stars as himself in what is now called -  "Apartment 23"  The sitcom revolves around the lives of two roommates on opposite sides of the spectrum who learn to co-exist in New York City.
One girl, June (Dreama Walker), is an ambitious, naive Midwesterner ready to reach for the stars and the other, Chloe (Krysten Ritter), is a charming con-artist who takes pride in her conniving ways, especially towards her roommates.  Krysten is a Gilmore Girls alum so we get twice the joy.

The Beek Is Back

Following on from James Van Der Beeks hilarious 'Funny or Die' videos, the Beek has found himself fielding offers for comedy roles.  He has always been highly sought after for dramatic roles but it looks like he has opened up a whole new career for himself.

This season he will co-star in the  TV comedy pilot -Don't Trust the Bitch in Apt. 23.-    The show centers on June (Dreama Walker), an earnest, honest, optimistic girl from the heartland who is forced to move in with Chloe (Krysten Ritter), a sexy, unstable New York City party girl who has the morals of a pirate. James will play Chloe's best friend James Van Der Beek, a heightened version of himself in the vein of Neil Patrick Harris' stint in the Harold & Kumar movies and Matt LaBlanc's starring role on the comedy 'Episodes'. The role, originally named after and destined for former 'N Sync singer Lance Bass, is being completely rewritten for Van Der Beek.

Zac May Have Had A Change of Heart

The rumours of Zac and Vanessa getting back together are gaining ground!  Zac has been seen at her place which admittedly could be innocent, then came the news that they had partied the night away together Los Angeles nightclub Eden where they were spotted by various people holding hands and kissing!

Now comes the news that Zac spent most of the Golden Globes after party texting Baby V and headed straight over there after the party!!!

Well, well, well!  We'll just have to wait and see.

The most persistent rumour is that although Zac ended the relationship, it is now Vanessa who is in the drivers seat with Zac keen to rekindle.

I know you may not agree but I'd be thrilled to see them back together, but then I'm a sucker for first love. (Besides the alternatives aren't fabulous - Rumor Willis - point made)

Dawson Got Married!

During the week another of our Dawson's Creek boys and a favourite of ours on Twitter tied the knot with his girlfriend of a year Kimberley Brook.

Formosa Betrayed

I think I am going to have to add this to our must see list. It stars James Van Der Beek (Dawson's Creek) and tells the story of FBI agent Jake Kelly's investigation of the brutal murder of a Taiwanese-American professor on US soil.

James has just won the Best Actor award at the San Diego Film Festival for his role in the film. Well done James - nice to have you back.

Bad News From Capeside

Oh no, James Van Der Beek (Dawson Leery) and his wife, Heather McComb, are splitting up. (who knew Dawson was even married?)


They were married in 2003 — two months after he left Dawson's Creek. James most recently played a movie director on One Tree Hill, while Heather appeared on Prison Break this season.
Poor old Dawson, he never was that lucky in love - even Joey chose Pacey over him.
Looks like we may have to keep an eye on Mr Van Der Beek and make sure he has better luck. You'll always be a sentimental favourite with us though James.

Look Who's Dropped In To Tree Hill

Look who has popped up on my favourite show of the moment - One Tree Hill! Mr James Van Der Beek - or Dawson Leary to his old friends. He makes an appearance in season 6 as Dixon.

Lovely sense of deja vu as Capeside and Tree Hill are one and the same. Both shows being filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Got to love a good 'six degrees' discovery, or is it just me?
