Gilmore Leads The Pack
BuddyTV have got their latest list Oh so right. Not only is their number one an absolute given but number two is also an inspired choice. They have put together “Five Great Moments in TV Karaoke” and of course, as it must, Lorelai’s performance on Gilmore Girls is leading the list.
"I Will Always Love You," Gilmore Girls
"One Way or Another," Veronica Mars
"Bust a Move," One Tree Hill
"Don’t Stop Believin’," Family Guy
"Afternoon Delight," Arrested Development
They comment that it is a “heartbreaking performance” by Lauren Graham that should have been Emmy-worthy.
“Tell me it isn’t some of the best acting you’ve ever seen… It’s great vocally and one-of-a-kind emotionally, making it not only TV’s greatest karaoke moments, but one of the best scenes on television in the past 20 years.” How's that for a rap?!
Though Lorelai begins by singing the song for Rory, when Luke comes in… everything changes, and the lyrics take on a whole new meaning as she tries to get through finishing her song. And to relive the moment - here it is....

aaahhh GG
So you think I am talking about Gossip Girl, as clearly it has been on this evening, and clearly, I watched it......fun as always...what was with that teacher, way too young to know anything, surely. Anyway, I digress, I also happened to catch part of an old Gilmore Girls episode. The one where Lorelai and Luke kiss on the porch of the Dragonfly Inn and Rory loses her virginity. Big ep! Ladies, I just miss you so much!

Happy Valentines Day
In honour of Valentines Day here is one of the most romantic television moments courtesy of Gilmore Girls of course. After years of waiting Luke and Lorelai finally go on their first date. Their first kiss was fabulous but for romance you can't go past Luke's now famous line...
“This thing we got going here, you and me, I just want to let you know that I am in. I am all in.”
It makes me go all gooey just watching it again. Enjoy and have a wonderful day.
