Quilted Table Runner

I made some place mats a couple of years ago and as there was plenty of the winter themed fabric left I made a quilted table runner to match.

Embroidered Felt Pears

The Christmas workshop held last Saturday was entitled Partridge in a Pear Tree, and we had a choice of making birds or pears .... all eight ladies attending made pears, but we have felt left to make a bird.

Reindeer

My plan was to post about a workshop I attended on Saturday, but I shall have to leave it until tomorrow. I was sorting through the photos...... I have photos of everyone's work except mine.

The reindeer above was created on my tablet.

Collage in Altered Book

Another collage from my altered book.

On this page is a page about berries from a gardening book, a negative film strip, punched paper that was used in an antique music machine, vintage envelope print.

Blue Pig

Mixed media - the background was painted with acrylics and the pig was drawn on my tablet.

Green Collage

A collage made up of artwork, some hand painted, some inkjet prints, doily, leaf print. The collage is on a page in an altered book.

New Calendar Design

My new calendar design for a tea towel. The elephants were a set of four mixed media and embroidered pictures which I altered for the calendar.

When my daughter was visiting the other week we had a drawing contest using our tablets. Someone suggested a title, ie clown in a canon, haunted house, fish on a bike and a flying monkey and we quickly drew our sketches. We both came up with completely different ideas of course.

Christmas Tree Tag

I made this at a play day the other week. Well I didn't really make it, I just decorated it. Helen had pre-made the blank tags before we got there. Needs a hole and ribbon to finish.
