Artist Biography by Mike DaRonco

Cessna's quirk of heartfelt guitar pop stuck out amongst the surrounding popularity of Finland's black metal scene when they debuted with the 1997 EP Holiday On Ice. Following that year with a double three-inch CD entitled Bordeaux, Sami (vocals/guitar), Jani (drums), Tomi (guitar) and Kimmo (bass) backed up their released with a tour of Europe that lasted until 1998. Upon their return home, Cessna recorded the My Blue Anglia EP before Television Song came out a year later.
