Happy Fall -- for Paper ala Mode Challenges

It's Saturday, and it's time for a new challenge at the Outlawz Paper ala Mode. We are sponsored this entire year by We Are 3 Digital Shop. One lucky person will get a gift certificate to the wonderful shop!

Our theme this next two weeks is 'Happy Fall'.  We want to see your Autumn projects.

I love Fall colors!  These papers and printables from We Are 3 Digital Shop are so beautiful! It was easy to put together an Autumn-themed card with them:

The papers are from the Pumpkin Delight papers. I used 4 different ones from the collection on this card.  The pumpkin printable is part of the Autumn Labels set. There are 4 in this set.  The sentiment is part of the Itty Bitty-Fall Sentiment Set

The doily behind the printable is by Cheery Lynn.  The pumpkin ephemera is a die from Yvonnes Creations.  The crinkle ribbon is from D.L. Art

I hope you can join us at Paper ala Mode Challenges for our Happy Fall Challenge!

Golden Fall -- For Ching Chou Kuik

It's Tuesday, and this is the day that I am fortunate enough to be able to post for the Ching Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog. A new challenge is just getting underway, lasting the month of October.  The theme is Boo-tiful Halloween or pumpkins or Halloween colors.

Speaking of Boo-tiful.  I  used the awesome Golden Fall digital image for my inspirational card:

I colored Golden Fall with Copic markers, then fuzzy cut her out. The doily behind her is a die by Cheery Lynn. The pumpkin is a die by Yvonne Creations.

That pretty strip of pumpkin paper is by We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is one of the Pumpkin Delight papers.

Check the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge blog often for great motivation and talent, and of course, the challenge.  There's another challenge in the Facebook Group.

Happy Fall -- for Dies R Us Challenges

It's the 15th of the month, so it's time for a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenges. Each challenge runs for 2 weeks, and they each have a theme.  This time, the theme is "happy Fall, Y'all!"  Isn't that a fun one?!?!?  I love fall!  I love the colors, the geese passing over, the cooler temperatures, I even love what's coming next! (well, most of the time).

In honor of Fall, and today's Dies R Us Challenge, I created this:

I started with the circle, and built up from there.  It is one of the Fitted Circles by Elizabeth Craft. I cut the acorns out of white card stock, then inked them.  They are part of the Yvonne Creations Fabulous Fall Collections (no longer in stock).  The various leaves are also from the same set.  They are cut out of colored card stock.

I hope you can join us for our "Happy Fall, Y'all" challenge at Dies R Us Challenges. Just use a die from a brand that is sold at Dies R Us Store, and you are good to go.  For those of you in Canada, check out the awesome Didi's Crafts Store for wonderful crafting supplies.

A Truck Full of Thanks -- for Scrapy Land Challenges

Today is the first Wednesday of November (how did that happen, anyway?), and that means there is a new challenge starting today at the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog.  Challenges are always Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die that is sold in the Scrapy Land Store.  Scrapy Land sells dozens and dozens of brands of dies, so this is very easy to do!  Shop the Scrapy Land Store here, and see for yourself!

Since it is November, and Thanksgiving is celebrated this month here in the USA, I wanted to make a Fall/Thanksgiving card for today's challenge.  Here's my creation:

The truck is a die from Cheapo Dies called Loads of Love.  It is no longer available, but search for 'trucks' in the search engine, and we will find several very cute ones, including this one from Impression Obsession and Bob's Old Truck in 2 sizes from Frantic Stamper.

I made the truck look a bit "rusty" using some metallic wax from Spectrum Noir.

That big pumpkin in the back of truck is on its way to a pumpkin weighing contest.  It might just win!!  It is a die from Yvonne Creations.  It is called Fabulous Fall Collection - Autumn Leaves.  Of all the die collections I've purchased from the Scrapy Land Store, this is my go-to set, especially this time of year!  It makes beautiful fall leaves, acorns, toadstools, and yes, pumpkins!

The stitched oval die is from Spellbinders.  Many companies have similar dies, including these from Lawn Fawn, these from Tutti Design, and these from Elizabeth Craft

The paisley print background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is from the Howdy Autumn Collection. The sentiment, also from the We Are 3 Digital Shop, is one of the Itty Bitty Collection.

The burlap ribbon behind the stitched oval die is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I thought it added just the right amount of texture to a fall card.

I hope you can join us the next 2 weeks at the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog.  One winner gets a $15 gift certificate to the Scrapy Land Store!

Fall Greetings -- for Di's Digi Designs Challenges

It's Saturday, and it's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenges.  For the next 2 weeks the theme is, The Colors of Autumn.

Di Carubia has some of the most darling images available for this and any theme is new shoppe, Di's Digi Stamps.

For today's  DT inspiration card, I used Henry's Windfall. It is available in both a black & white and a colored version.   This  is the black and white version.

I colored Henry's Windfall with Copic markers.  I cut it out with a die.  leaving the die in place, I inked around the edges with distress ink.

The "Fall Greetings"sentiment is from We Are 3 Digital Shop, as are the Autumn Woodland papers.

The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I hope you can join us this next 2 weeks at Di's Digi Designs Challenges for our Colors of Autumn Challenge!

Autumn Wreath -- An All Dressed Up New Release

It's the 7th of the month, and it's one of the 2 days each month that New Releases are show cased at All Dressed Up Stamps (the 22nd is the other day, so check back!)

Today, I have the very great pleasure of introducing you to Autumn Wreath -- one of 4 new releases available in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop.  You'll find these new releases showcased in the All Dressed Up Facebook group, and on the All Dressed Up Blog

Here's Autumn Wreath:

I usually color first, then find papers, but this time I had my papers in mind, so I colored (with Copic markers) to match the papers, and I wanted to have an Autumn theme to match the Autumn Wreath name.

The pretty leaves paper, and the blue watercolor looking paper are both from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are part of the Watercolor Leaves paper collection

I cut the circular card shape out of a die from Tattered Lace.  The stitched die that the Autumn Wreath image is cut out of is from The Scrapping Cottage.  The leaves are cut out of foiled papers, are are dies from Yvonne Creations, purchased from the Dies R Us Store

I hope you check out both the All Dressed Up Facebook Group and the All Dressed Up Blog to see the other new releases.  Then, do some shopping in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop.  There are such wonderful digis for you to purchase.  Color them up and join our challenges!

Autumn Wheelbarrow -- for Scrapy Land Challenges

It's the first Wednesday of the month, and that means it's challenge time on the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog. Challenges are always Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die sold in the Scrapy Land Store.  Nearly 50 brands of dies are sold in the Scrapy Land Store, so this is easy to do!

It is officially Fall, and it has felt like Fall for quite some time where I live, so I got out some Autumn dies and fall colored papers for today's card.  I love the colors of Fall!

The focal point of the card, the Autumn Wheelbarrow, is a Tutti Designs die.  I love how delicate and scrolled it is when cut out!  The white doily behind the Autumn Wheelbarrow  is from Cheery Lynn Designs.  It is called French Pastry.   The pumpkins and leaves are all from the same set.  They are from Yvonne Creations, and are the Fabulous Fall, Autumn Leaves.  The grass is part of a large set of dies from Creative Expressions. It is called Stitched Collection - Garden Critters.  There are many grass borders, if you search in the Scrapy Land store.  My search provided me with 41 possibilities.  The card base was cut out from a die.  It is from Card Deco

I stamped the sentiment on to the doily.  It is a stamp from Joy's Life Stamps.  The designer papers on this card are from the We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are the Fall Inspiration collection.

Please try to join us at Scrapy Land Challenges!  Make a project with any brand die sold in the Scrapy Land Store and link up!  You could be the winner of a $15 gift certificate!

Sweet Little Pumpkin -- for All Dressed Up

It's the first of October, and that means we're starting a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group.  Challenges start the first of the month, and run all month long.  This month, the theme is Autumn or Halloween.  Since I'm not crazy about Halloween, I went with a sweet Autumn themed card.

You can find images for both Autumn and Halloween in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop, including new releases!

I used one of the 3 Little Autumn Girls, and created this:

I  colored the 3 Little Autumn Girls (the one on the right) with Copic markers, using earth colors, or, "Autumn" colors, if you will.   The sentiment is from a stamp set from Joy's Life.

The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are from the Howdy Autumn papers.  The leaves and pumpkin die cuts are cut from dies from Yvonne Creations, found in the Dies R Us Store.  The enamel dots are from my stash.

I hope you find time to join in with the Autumn or Halloween challenge at All Dressed Up Facebook Group.  I have so much fun all month long seeing what everyone creates!  Shop for images here in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop

It's Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps!  Every Friday, there's a new freebie!  Doesn't that just make your Friday better?  Today's stamp is called Autumn Brat Leaves Girl and she's a real cutie!

I colored up Autumn Brat Leaves Girl with Copic markers.  I used 2 cutting dies from Cottage Cutz to cut her out and back Autumn Brat Leaves Girl. The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Joy's Life.

The fun papers are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are from the Autumn Woodland papers.  The leaves are cutting dies from Yvonne Creations.

Check out what the other talented Bugaboo designers did with this girl over on the Catch the Bug blog. Grab her from the Bugaboo Stamps Store, color her up, and enter her in the challenges.  You might win more Bugaboo Stamps

Never Lose Your Sense of Wonder - for the Path of Positivity

It's the 3rd Monday of the month, and it's time for some mid-challenge inspiration on the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. This month, the optional theme is, "curiosity".  Our sponsor for this month is Bugaboo Stamps, and our ongoing sponsor is Scribbles Designs

I used the adorable Deacon Bugs to create this card:

I colored Deacon Bugs with Copic markers, then computer generated my sentiment, sticking with the theme of 'curiosity'.  Deacon Bugs definitely seems curious, going off to explore nature, with his bug net and pail to collect his specimens.  He's a boy after my own heart!  I, too, love to go on hikes exploring.

I used 2 papers from the Autumn Woodland Collection from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The Fall ephemera was cut out with dies from Yvonne Creations.

The 'Curiosity' theme is optional.  You can link up any positive themed project you make at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  You have until Oct. 6.  I'd love to see your creations!

It's a day to showcase New Releases at All Dressed Up Stamps.  There are 4 new releases in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop this month, and they are being showcased in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group today.

For my card, I am showcasing Little Butterfly Girl:

Little Butterfly Girl is looking like she is ushering in spring, isn't she?  I colored Little Butterfly Girl with Copic markers.  The card was constructed with a die from Yvonnes Creations, purchased in the Dies R Us Store.  The papers and embellishments all came in a Spellbinders Papers Arts kit I purchased.

Check out the All Dressed Up Facebook Group to see what the other designers made with New Release images.  All check out this month's Animal-themed Challenge. Then, so some shopping in the All Dressed Up Shop, and join in the fun!

I colored up Winter Duck with Copic markers, using a die found at Dies R Us -- it's a Yvonne Creations Christmas Die.  Papers on this card are also from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.  The blue snowflakes are from the Blue Christmas paper pack.  The gold dots are from the Science Digital papers.

Winter Friends -- for Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog

I'm posting today for Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog, where it's time for some mid-challenge inspiration.  The theme this month is "Happy Holidays".  Of course, you can celebrate whatever holiday you want.  It doesn't have to be Christmas!

These two friends are celebrating winter:

This adorable digi is called Snowman and Duck.

I colored Snowman and Duck with Copic markers.  They look quite cozy together in their matching Winter outfits, don't they?

The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The blue  papers are from the Christmas Magic Collection. The pink snowflake paper is from the Loving Winter Collection.

Do you like the snowflake die cut? That's from the Dies R Us Store
It's from Yvonne Creations -- it's the Snowflake Rectangle Die Set.

Altered Christmas Canister

Christmas greeting, fellow crafters.  I'm posting on the Dies R Us blog today. If you're like me, I know you're busy with holiday EVERYTHING!  For some of the really special people on my list, I like to not only give them a special gift, but also an original gift package.  While I think gift bags are the greatest thing since toast, sometimes that special gift calls for something a bit more, well, unique!  Like this, perhaps....

This is a Kraft container that I've had in my stash of alterable goodies forever, and I pulled it out to decorate for a special friend.

Here's a picture of the supplies I used.  I'll list and link them at the end:

I covered the container with a Christmas paper, keeping the pattern simple and small so it wouldn't overwhelm the die cuts.

Next, I got busy cutting out all those pretty Christmas die cuts:

After that was done, it was just a matter of using some of the Best Glue Ever to attach the die cuts to the container.

The tree was so lacy and delicate that it got lost in the paper, so I backed it with a label die:
In case you're wondering what gift is going in the can, one of my best friend loves socks.  I have a couple of very fun pairs of socks to fit inside.  Perfect!

Happy Thanksgiving Table Setting for Dies R Us

I'm posting today on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog, and I've been working on a way to dress up the Thanksgiving table a bit.

I created these with several products in the Dies R Us store.  I'll show pictures and links at the end of this post for your convenience.

Here's all the supplies:

I created the pocket for the silverware and napkin by using an 11 1/2 x 4 inch piece of card stock.  I scored it at 4.5 inches, and glued to that score line.

I used 2 of the middle sized frames (ones that I thought fit on the front of the silverware holder the best) on this project.

I computer generated my sentiment.  Here's how it looked when I cut one out with the label:

I'll end with a close up of one of the place setting holders:

Here's the list of supplies, as promised:

I greatly enjoyed creating these and would like to enter them in the following challenges:

Thankful, Grateful, Blessed -- for Dies R Us

It's Sunday, and I'm posting today on the Dies R Us blog.  Its Veterans Day today, and I'd like to thank those of you who have served our country.  We owe you a huge debt of gratitude.  I am grateful for each of you!

I love the colors of Fall, and they often work their way into my crafting projects.  Today, I have a card I'm giving away for Thanksgiving, and it's loaded with Autumn elements and colors:

Let me show you the supplies I used, then I'll list them at the end of this post:

I cut out both sizes of the Square Tangled Frames by Frantic Stamper.  I used one to frame my sentiment and one to frame my Autumn elements.  Then, I chose some earth tone colored card stock, and cut out a bunch of leaves from the Yvonne Creations Fabulous Fall Collection - Autumn Leaves.  Here's everything cut out and ready to assemble:

I love all the detail in the Autumn Leaves cutting dies.  They're beautiful when they're cut out!

Here's a close up so you can see them better:

Here's a list of the supplies, as promised!

The stamped sentiment and background papers are from Close To My Heart.  The crinkle ribbon is from a company no longer in business -- 3 Girl JAM.  Gosh, I miss them!

Pumpkin Crow Loves Fall -- a New Release at Bugaboo

It's Tuesday, and that means it's New Release Day!  Every Tuesday.  New Releases!  It doesn't get much better than that when you're a stamp collector like I am!  I just wish I could color as fast as I can collect them!

Today's new release, Pumpkin Crow, is a wonder.  Not only is it adorable, but it colors up super fast, and looks good in a variety of mediums:

I colored Pumpkin Crow with Copic markers, but I also think it would look great with colored pencils or crayons, or anything else you decide to use!

I used a sketch from this week's Wednesday Sketch challenge at The Outlawz for this card.  Here's the sketch:

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The orange dot paper is from the Pumpkin Delight paper collection.  The green vine paper is from the Thankful paper collection. The sentiment, also from We Are 3, is part of the Itty Bitty Fall collection

The die cut leaves are from Yvonne Creations, and can be purchased at Dies R Us. The oval shapes were cut out with Spellbinders dies.

I hope you check out what the rest of the Bugaboo Stamps design team made with this Pumpkin Crow new release on the Catch the Bug blog.  You won't be disappointed!

Hummingbird Sympathy -- for Dies R Us

I'm on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog today, with a lacy hummingbird card.

I'm a church organist.  One of my duties, besides Sunday services, is playing for funerals.  I seem to always need a sympathy card.  Today, I used some gorgeous Dies R Us products and created a sympathy card:

I'll go over all the supplies a bit later in this post, but here's a photo of them, before I started:

The nesting dies are from Yvonne Creations Dies.  It is the Nesting Frame Die.  I love this die, but there's a bit of a learning curve with it.  Make sure you keep track of your layers, or it can get confusing.  I've ruined some paper, cutting the pattern in the wrong direction.  I always reassure myself -- it's only paper!!

Here's a shot of how I did the card base:

Notice how I leave the largest die outside of the fold of the card base.   If you look closely at the finished card, you can see where that fold is.  The outside layer is exactly the same size on the left side of the card (where the fold is).

Now, as promised -- a list of supplies used:

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog. There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.
