It's Friday, so there's a new challenge underway at Colour Crazy Challenge Blog. Every Friday, a new challenge starts, and challenges run for 2 weeks. This week, our challenge is sponsored by Polkadoodles. They have some of the cutest digis, including this Early Hedgehog Dandelion:
I colored Early Hedgehog Dandelion with Copic markers, then used a couple papers from the new We Are 3 Springtime papers. A bit of yellow ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon finished off the card.
I hope you can join us this Friday (or any Friday) at Colour Crazy Challenges. Images must be hand colored, but after that, its anything goes.
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Best Witches -- the Outlawz Monthly Progressive Freebie Challenge
Hello, and happy Tuesday. I've been entering the Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenges each month. This month I got it done with 1/2 the month to spare. Hurray for me! This month's progressive freebie image was provided to the participants by Polkadoodles. She's a real sweetie! She is part of a collection from Winnie Wednesday.
I colored the Winnie Wednesday image with Copic markers. I cut out the spider web background with a cutting die from Queen & Company. The Best Wishes sentiment is a die from Tonic Studios. The wonky stitched oval die is by The Scrapping Cottage.
Winnie Wednesday is looking fairly intense. I'm not sure if she's going to wish you a Happy Halloween or cast a spell. Better beware!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenge -- October
Polkadoodles Challenge -- ATG
Digi Choosday -- ATG

Lucky I Have You -- for Scrapy Land Challenges
It's the first Wednesday in September, and we're starting a new challenge today over at the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog. We've started switching things up a bit, and we're now giving away one $15 gift certificate chosen by Random.org. The design team chooses top 3 and honorable mentions.
Dies can add that decorative touch to a card that takes it from "that's nice" to "oh, my!" That's what happened with today's card. I used 3 stitched border dies found in the Scrapy Land Store, and it added that "wow" factor to my card:
I used Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Border Dies, using 3 different dies on 3 different designer papers. I colored my image first, found papers that matched my coloring, then picked the Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Border Dies to match the papers and image. I really liked the way it "spiced up" the card.
The papers on the card are from the We Are 3 Digital Shop. The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Close To My Heart, and the pearls are from my stash. Oh, and the cute image is from Polkadoodles, colored with Copic markers.
Scrapy Land products used on this card:
I hope you are able to join us at the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog. Our challenges are Anything Goes, as long as you use a die found in the Scrapy Land Store. Scrapy Land sells many brands of dies, so chances are, you already own one! Make something and link up! I'd love to see what you create!

RAWR!!!!! for Sketch Saturday
It's Saturday, and that means it's time for a new sketch at Sketch Saturday. Every Saturday, a new sketch to give your creativity a boost.
Our sponsor this week is Polkadoodles. I used an image and papers from the Sticks & Bones Collection.
First the card, then the sketch:
sketch:
You can see I followed the sketch fairly closely, except I moved the arrow to the upper left, and the sentiment is within the inner rectangle.
I colored the woolly mammoth with Copic markers. Who really knows what color they were, right? They've been extinct for so long, they could {possible} have been pink? I'm the artist, and I say pink! I cute the letters out with dies from Spellbinders, and the wood arrow is from Close To My Heart (retired).
I hope you like this sketch, and join us this week at Sketch Saturday. I'd love to see what you do with it!

A Magical Friendship -- for Julia Spiri Stamps
It's Thursday, and time for a new challenge at the Julia Spiri Challenge Blog. The themes are always Anything Goes -- with a twist, if you choose. This time, the twist is -- Craft bags (make a bag). The challenge will run for the next 2 weeks.
I absolutely love Julia Spiri images. There isn't a bad one in the bunch, but this one?!? It has to be one of my favorites!!! (do I say that every time?) This is The Little Dragonfly...
I colored The Little Dragonfly with Copic markers. It was so much fun to experiment with colors on those wings and the dress. It was an Anything Goes coloring affair, let me tell you!
The bag was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo, with a file found here in the Silhouette Design Store. I cut the colored image out with a couple of circle dies. The plain circle die is by Spellbinders. The stitched circle die is from Craftin' Desert Divas. The sentiment is digital, by Polkadoodles, printed onto a Polkadoodles paper. The paper behind the Little Dragonfly image is digital -- Prima Indeed, purchased at Snap Click Supply. The ribbons on the bag are from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I hope you can join in on our optional Craft bag challenge at Julia Spiri Challenge Blog. We have great prizes, and I'd love to see what you make! Check out our Stamps by Julia Spiri Facebook group, too, for news, inspiration, discount codes, and more!

Be Unforgettable -- for The East Wind
It's Friday, which means there's a New Release today at The East Wind. Every Tuesday and every Friday, Unky draws something fantastic for us to color up and create with. Yes!
One of my favorite stories growing up was Anne of Green Gables. I immersed myself in the stories and became Anne. Here she is -- Anne with an 'E' --
Love, love, love this image! I'm right back reading those books again when I see this.
I colored up Anne with an 'E' with Copic markers. She had to have red hair. I cut the image out with an oval die. Then used some scalloped dies to create the rest of the card -- all from Spellbinders.
The papers on this card are all digital. The are from Polkadoodles. The wooden dots have been in my stash for a long time, and are from Theresa Collins - Nine & Co.
Join our The East Wind Facebook group to see what other design team members have done with this image, and to stay abreast of other new releases. There's also a Facebook contest each month, and another contest on The East Wind blog. Follow me HERE on Instagram.

Sending Some Fairy Dust
It's Friday, and the Polkadoodle challenge blog is having a Tic Tac Toe challenge I thought I'd play along with. I'm not on the team anymore, but still wanted to participate in the challenge. Here's the chart for easy reference:
I used the bottom line -- Wings, Tag, Flower -- on today's project:
The image, designer papers, and sentiment are all from the Serenity Fairy Wishes Collection (Digital Download) (CD) (individual image), found in the Polkadoodles Store. I colored Serenity Fairy Kisses with Copic markers.
Dies to make this tag are from Paper Wishes and Craftin' Desert Divas. Fibers and card stock are from Close To My Heart.

For Someone Special
It's Tuesday, that means it's Digi Choosday. I'm no longer on the team, but I had my make ready to go, so I decided to post it anyway. This week, the theme is "Mother's Day." Those Brits celebrate the holiday earlier than we do here in the U.S.
I haven't played with the Winston Deluxe Papercraft Collection (also available in CD) in awhile, and it's one of my favorites, so I went a-hunting there for cuteness, and I found it!
Everything on this card is from the Winston Deluxe Paper Collection or CD-- insert, design sheet, sentiment, pre-colored image. I digitally merged some of them, and fussy cut others to create this card, placing them on a Kraft card stock base.
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Crafty Boots -- something for the lady
Melonheadz Friends -- Add an Animal

Hugs & Kisses
Every month, I've been participating in The Outlawz Progressive Freebie challenge. I've made it for over a year now. Each month, I think, "this might be the month I miss", but somehow I get something made yet again.
This month, I made a tag using Teresa Arsenault's free image. Thank you, Teresa!
I colored the image with Copic markers. I was working on the pleats, but I'm not real happy with how they turned out.
The tag was created with a variety of dies from Paper Wishes. Papers are all digital, taken out of my stash. Many are from Polkadoodles. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

And, it means great inspiration and a new challenge over on the Digi Choosday Challenge blog. For the next 2 weeks, the theme is 'Animals & Insects'. Oh! Friends like You... for Polkadoodles
It's Friday, and it's time for a a new challenge at the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog. Our theme this time is 'Lucky Green'. Aha! Perfect for the new, fun Polkadoodles Sticks and Bones Collection! Available in CD and Digital Download.
I thought a green dinosaur would make the perfect friendship card:
The papers, alphabet (spelling out 'Roar'), sentiment, and dinosaur are all from the Sticks & Bones collection.
I cut the card shape out on my Silhouette Cameo, from a design I found in the Silhouette Design Store. I used a punch on the alphabets, and a die on the sentiment. The heart is a Kraft sticker I found in my stash. There's a bit of Timeless Twine to show off that dinosaur just a bit more.
I hope you can join in on our 'Lucky Green' challenge at Polkadoodle's Challenge Blog. It will run for 2 weeks. Please join our Polkadoodles Facebook group, too. There's lots of fun and inspiration happening all the time!

Today, I'm showcasing the new Sticks & Bones collection, (CD) , Digital Download) and showing how I use dies to make a card base, and use a die to ink the edges of my image.
First, arrange the die over the image. I colored this adorable image with Copic markers. Secure -- I use washi tape:
Using a sponge and distress ink, with the die in place, ink the edges of the image:
Gather supplies, choose papers, dies, sentiment, card base:
Fold card base in 2 (fold is on the left in the picture below), overlap folded edge slightly with die, and run everything through a die cutting machine.
Assemble the layers, embellish as desired:
This is going to be my husband's Valentine's Day card. It's not traditional, but I think he'll like it!
Come join the Digi Choosday "All You Need is Love" Challenge going on for 2 weeks. The "Anything But a Card" challenge goes on for another week, so there's still time to join us for that one, too. While you're joining in the fun, join our Digi Choosday Crafting Facebook group, too!

Our 'In Bloom' challenge goes on for another week on the Digi Choosday challenge blog, and this Anything But a Card challenge will last for the next 2 weeks. Join our Digi Choosday Facebook Group, too.

Old as the Dinosaurs -- for Polkadoodles
Have you seen the new release at Polkadoodles? I'm loving this new collection, Sticks & Bones! It's great for just about anything -- birthdays, friendship, children, male, treat bags, I've been using it LOTS! Yesterday, I needed a birthday card, and I just knew this Sticks & Bones collection would be PERFECT! The Sticks & Bones Collection is available in Digital Download & CD. Here's my birthday card...
The only thing NOT from the Sticks & Bones Collection is the ribbon. It's from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Everything else -- papers, pre-printed image, sentiment -- it all came from the collection. I thought it would all look charming on a front centered step card, so I created one of those with a Sizzix die set.
You can see more of wonderful inspiration for this Sticks & Bones Collection by visiting the Polkadoodles Crafting Facebook group. It's well worth checking out!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

It's a Special Day -- for Digi Choosday
This is a special day -- it's Tuesday, and Digi Choosday! That means there's an awesome discount code good for 24 hours only in the Polkadoodles store, AND there's a new challenge starting today on the Digi Choosday Challenge blog.
This week, our Digi Choosday theme is "In Bloom". What better collection to use for this than the beautiful Rose Budd CD collection? Or Rose Budd Digital Download?
The pre-printed image, papers, and ticket are all from the Rose Budd collection. Such a simple, yet elegant tag!
The stitching (faux or real) challenge is still going on for another week on the Digi Choosday blog. If you haven't joined us yet, please do! I'd love to see you join our Digi Choosday Facebook Group, too!

Spread Your Wings & Fly -- for The Cutting Cafe
This week, at The Cutting Cafe, the design team is showcasing Bendi/Bendy cards. These cards are really fun, full of lots of possibilities for variety and embellishing!
Here's my Bendi/Bendy card:
I cut the Bendy/Bendi card out, including the layers and the heart trim. The card went together very easily and quickly.
The image is a pre-printed image from Polkadoodles Store. The sentiment is also from Polkadoodles. Embellishments are from my stash.
The design team has been sharing their Bendy/Bendi cards this week, and it's definitely worth checking out The Cutting Cafe blog on Jan. 21 to see the awesome cards!
