It's Friday, and that means one thing at Bugaboo Stamps!  It's Freebie Friday!  Today, though, is extra special!  We're kicking off the start of the holiday chaos event with a Friday Freebie that you can use all week long for the Reindeer Games (this year's theme).  You can find all the details pinned to the top of the post over at Catch the Bug

Here's today's freebie.  It'll will be in the Bugaboo Store all week.  Go grab it!

I colored today's freebie with Copic markers, then used a new set of slimline dies I picked up from DiesRUs to create the card. The set is by Tutti Designs.  The papers are very old papers by Echo Park. The banner dies, sentiment stamp, and stitched star are from Crafter's Companion.

Pick up this freebie at Bugaboo Stamps, then join the week-long challenges at Catch the Bug!  You won't believe the prizes that will be given away!  It's going to be So. Much. FUN!!!!

Sending Woof's of Christmas Wishes -- New Releases from All Dressed Up Stamps

It's the 22nd of the month, and new releases are being showcased for this month's All Dressed Up Stamps in the Facebook Group Today.  there are 4 new releases, and I managed to color up 2 of them to showcase today.  This is a milestone event for me!  I had a mild stroke several weeks ago, and this is the first coloring I've shared since it happened.  The stroke effected the right side of my body more than my left side, and I'm left handed, so coloring doesn't go too badly, but card construction is a struggle, and writing blog posts makes my brain HURT!!  I literally take a nap after I get it done. It is such a struggle for me!

But, on to the 2 new releases I have to share with you. All the new releases can be found in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop.

The first is Woof Christmas-- perfect for my dog-loving friends!

I colored Woof Christmas with Copic markers.  The paw print border is a die from Frantic Stampers.  The bone die came in a set from Cheery Lynn.  Both sets were purchased from Dies R Us.  The  paw print paper is a digital paper form Echo Park. The sentiment is part of the Woof Christmas digi.

Card #2 uses new release, Christmas Skater.  I think this will be a favorite of this release.  I love her elegant lines!

I colored Christmas Skater with Copic markers, then found that perfect sentiment in a Christmas stamp set I've had for a long time. The edger dies are from Spellbinders.  The Snowflake dies are from Lawn Fawn.  The Background looking glitter paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is one of the papers in the Christmas Magic Set.

Either of these images would work well for this month's All Dressed Up Facebook challenge -- Christmas is Coming.  Why not grab them (you know you want them!), color them up, and join us in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group!

What do you mean? Christmas in July at Bugaboo Stamps

Christmas in July at Bugaboo Stamps!  It all starts today on the Catch the Bug Blog and runs for a week.  The challenges will stay open longer than that so you will have time to enter.  See each day's events for the details!

Today, at Catch the Bug, to launch the Festivities with Style, we want you to create a project from one of these 3 movies:

Since I'm such a dog lover, and I watch A Charlie Brown Christmas every year, that's the movie theme I made my project from.  I created a card using the adorable digi, Enough Reindeer:

Isn't that the sweetest?  The Enough Reindeer digi comes with the image and the sentiment. I colored it with Copic markers.

The paw prints is a background stamp I have.  It's from Impression Obsession.  The dots paper is from Echo Park.  The paw print brad has been in my possession since I started this crazy scrapbooking/card making hobby years ago.

That's my DT inspiration for today's movie themed challenge.  They'll be different themes all week, with lots of prizes you can win, all with a Christmas in July theme.  Check the Catch the Bug blog each day to find out what's in store!

Altered Christmas Canister

Christmas greeting, fellow crafters.  I'm posting on the Dies R Us blog today. If you're like me, I know you're busy with holiday EVERYTHING!  For some of the really special people on my list, I like to not only give them a special gift, but also an original gift package.  While I think gift bags are the greatest thing since toast, sometimes that special gift calls for something a bit more, well, unique!  Like this, perhaps....

This is a Kraft container that I've had in my stash of alterable goodies forever, and I pulled it out to decorate for a special friend.

Here's a picture of the supplies I used.  I'll list and link them at the end:

I covered the container with a Christmas paper, keeping the pattern simple and small so it wouldn't overwhelm the die cuts.

Next, I got busy cutting out all those pretty Christmas die cuts:

After that was done, it was just a matter of using some of the Best Glue Ever to attach the die cuts to the container.

The tree was so lacy and delicate that it got lost in the paper, so I backed it with a label die:
In case you're wondering what gift is going in the can, one of my best friend loves socks.  I have a couple of very fun pairs of socks to fit inside.  Perfect!

Dies R Us products used on this project:

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.

I've Got Your Back -- for Sasayaki Glitter Stamps

It's the middle of the month, and it's time for some mid-challenge inspiration on the Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog.  The theme this month is Halloween/Harvest.

I used Sasayaki Glitter's image #64, Naughty Alien, to create this:

I colored Naughty Alien with Faber-Castel Polychromos pencils.  Once I got done, I wasn't sure if the Naughty Alien looked expertly shaded, or if he looked like a 5 year old picked up the pencils and colored!  Oh well, I had fun either way.

The sentiment was computer generated.  Papers on this card are from Echo Park.

I hope you can join us this month at Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog.  There's still plenty of time to enter our Halloween/Harvest themed challenge.

Fabulous Friend -- for Scribbles Designs

September 23 -- that means it's the day I post on the Scribbles Designs blog.  It's my day for a little Scribbles Designs inspiration.

I found this really fun owl in the shop, complete with sentiment and frame, and I decided to color it up and create with it.  I really like how it turned out!

I used Fab Friend to create this:

I colored Fab Friend with Lyra Rembrandt colored pencils.  I colored the leaves with Caran D'ache Neocolor II artist crayons and Liquid Pearls.  They were cut out with a die from Sizzix.  The papers are from Echo Park.

There are many wonderful designs in the Scribbles Designs Store, and they are priced VERY reasonably (plus, lots of freebies!).  Check them out!  There's also a monthly challenge to check out on the Scribbles Designs Blog.

Today, the new releases at All Dressed Up Stamps are being showcased. I had the joy of working with Sleepy Time

I colored Sleepy Time with Copic markers, using Fall colors on that cute floral bouquet.

The papers, sentiment, and embellishments on this card are by Echo Park.  I used dies by Craftin' Desert Divas to design the card.

There will be more examples of the new releases this month on the All Dressed Up blog, and in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group.  I hope you visit both places to see the great work from this awesome design team!

Big Books -- for Sasayaki Glitter

I like books -- big books, little books, fiction, non-fiction -- it really doesn't matter, so I had a great time with my project today!  It's for Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog, where a new challenge, and a school theme, is starting today.  The challenge will run until October 2, giving you a whole month to participate!

Here's my school themed project, using Amy Loves Books (image #30):

I colored Amy Loves Books with Copic markers.  The dies I used to make the bookmark are from Tattered Lace.  The papers are old ones from my stash (maybe Echo Park?).  The fibers are from Close To My Heart, but have been retired for years.  The sentiment is from Bugaboo Stamps.

Amy is so cute, isn't she?  She is definitely ready for the school year!  She will go far and get lost in many adventures!

I hope you can join our School themed challenge at Sasayaki Glitter.  I'd love to see what you create, and there are great prizes to win!  Check out the Sasayaki Stamps by Naz Facebook Group, too, where you'll find a monthly progressive challenge and more!

I Love Books! for Aloha Friday Challenges

It's time for a little mid-challenge inspiration over on the Aloha Friday Challenge Blog. Our theme for this challenge (which runs until through Thursday, August 16) is Books.  This can be an image of a book, a book title, or a quote from a book.

One of our wonderful sponsors this challenge is Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps.  I had the grand opportunity to color up this fun image:

This is Amy Loves Books, colored with Copic markers.  She just seemed to want to be on a bookmark, so that's what I created.  The sentiment was a freebie last week at Bugaboo Stamps

I Love Books! -- Guest Designing at Catch the Bug!

Woooooohoooooo!   Hooooo!    I'm guest designing for the next several months for Bugaboo Stamps!  The very first digital stamps I ever bought and figured out how to use were from Bugaboo.  I've always loved Jodie's style, and it's fun to have a chance to guest design and play along with the fabulous design team at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog.  There's lots happening every day there!

Every Friday, there's a freebie at Bugaboo Stamps.  Every Friday!  Grab it, color it, participate in the Catch the Bug challenges with it, win more great Bugaboo Stamps.  It's that easy (but shop some, too!)

I love to read, and although most of my reading is now done on an e-reader, I still love books.  So, today's free digi (complete with sentiment), really makes me smile:

This digi is called "Big Books Boy," and I colored him up with Copic markers, then used some Tattered Lace dies to cut him out and make him into a bookmark. Papers are by Echo Park.  Fibers are long retired, by Close To My Heart.

Grab the freebie, join the challenges -- I hope to see you at Catch The Bug Challenge blog this week!

I used a sketch from this week's Wednesday sketch challenge at The Outlawz.

I Love Summer -- for Scribbles Designs

It's the weekend!  Yea!  Since it's only the second full day of summer, I thought I'd offer some Summertime inspiration for my Scribblers Inspiration post, over on the Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog today.

This first card features Sneakers:

I colored up the Sneakers image with Copic markers.  I computer generated the "I love Summer" on the toes of the shoes before I printed the digi.  The papers and word stickers are from Echo Park.

This next card has a fun design.  It's the first time I've made this card.  Here's the card, closed up:

The sentiment on the front, one of 7 that comes in the Words 3 set, is from Scribbles Designs.  The best part, though, is the fun design inside .  Here's the card, partially opened:

Here's a close up of the Flower Doodle 8 --

I colored the Flower Doodle 8 with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.  I love colored pencils on Kraft.

This card design was a free SVG file from My Scrap Chick.  The papers were from my stash.  The gold birds were free from Paper Wishes.

That's it for today's summertime inspiration.  Now, it's time to get outside and enjoy this beautiful summer weather.  It's far too short and I want to enjoy it!  Woohoo!

Happy Easter! -- for QKR Stampede

It's almost Easter!  I hope you and yours have a blessed Easter holiday!

It's time for a new challenge at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog. Challenges last a week, and are always Anything Goes!

Since it is just about Easter, I made an Easter card for this week's challenge, using a darling Bunny & Egg (Q-digi14910):

I colored the Bunny & Egg with Copic markers, then fussy cut the image.  The Script Happy Easter (ES-digi3703) adds an elegant touch to the card.

The designer paper on the card is digital -- found at Snap Click Supply, and is an Echo Park paper.  The egg shaped card is a file found at the Silhouette Design Store, cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3.  The bright pink bunny is a die cut from Peachy Cheap.

I hope you find time during this busy Easter week to join our challenge at QKR Stampede.  I'd love to see what you make, and we've got great prizes you could win (like this darling digi!!)

Love is a Warm Puppy -- for QKR Stampede

This is a first for me!  I'm posting a day late for QKR Stampede's challenge.  This week's optional theme is, "Keep Your Eye on the Ball."  You can always enter Anything Goes, if you prefer.

We have a new Golden Retriever puppy in the house, so this card seems perfect:

This card uses 2 QKR Stampede digi stamps -- Happy Puppy (Q-digi17400) and Warm Puppy (Q-digi11301).

I colored Happy Puppy with Copic markers.  I used some new dies I bought from Stampendous to make the card base and layers.  Papers are digital.  They are the Echo Park Bark Collection, purchased from Snap Click Supply.  I printed the Warm Puppy sentiment on one of the digital Bark Collection papers.  The tennis ball was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.

I hope you can join us this week at QKR Stampede for our "Keep Your Eye on the Ball" challenge.  It runs until Friday, Sept. 1.

You Are My Sunshine -- for Great Impressions Stamps

Hello, and happy Friday!  I love big, bold sentiment stamps that can be the focal point of a card.  I found this great one in the Great Impressions Stamps store, and fell in love with it.

This is E876 My Sunshine.  All I did was ink it up, cut it out with a square die cut, back it with another die cut (both by Spellbinders) and centered it on the card.

The bright, summery designer paper is from Echo Park.  I cut the sun die cut out on my Silhouette Cameo with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.

It was a fun, easy card.

This is my last post for Great Impressions Stamps, and I want to thank Deone and Ruza for the wonderful experience!  I have loved every minute and will treasure each of my Great Impressions Stamps

Merry Christmas! for QKR Stampede

Happy Friday!  It's time for a new challenge at QKR Stampede Challenge blog.  Since it's almost July, this week's theme is "Christmas in July".  Here's your chance to get a Christmas card made!

I love many of the animal stamps found in the QKR Stampede Store, and today's Christmas Mouse is no exception!

I used Q-digi13714 Christmas Mouse & Q-digi13806 Merry Christmas on this card.  I printed them both on cranberry red card stock from Close to My Heart, then made a shaker card with dies from Lawn Fawn.

The dots papers are Echo Park Dots & Stripes Christmas papers.  The sequins are from Craftin' Desert Divas.  The ribbon is from my stash.

I hope you can join us at QKR Stampede for our Christmas In July challenge.  I'd love to see what you make!

Enjoy Life! for The Cutting Cafe

Summer!  It starts today, although we've already had a few hot, humid days here in Wisconsin, and a few storms to go with that hot, humid weather.  Summer -- lazy days, flip flops, ice cream, popsicles.  You gotta love summer!

We're featuring bingo cards this week at The Cutting Cafe.  You will find many different bingo card sets at The Cutting Cafe, and many different ideas of what can be done with them today on The Cutting Cafe blog.  I have one simple idea to share with you featuring the summer bingo cards:

The bingo cards in the Summer Bingo Cards Set come in various sizes.  These are the small ones.  I used 3 of them and some papers and embellishments from Echo Park.

Take time to check out all the bingo card set at The Cutting Cafe, and make sure to see all the wonderful inspiration on The Cutting Cafe Blog.  Leave a comment for a chance to win 3 sets of your choice!

Play Everyday! for The Cutting Cafe

Hello, fellow crafters, and happy weekend!  After having to take a break for a few months during my chemo treatments, I'm happily back with The Cutting Cafe, using Regina's wonderful files!

This week, the design team is featuring pinwheels.  You'll see pinwheels galore when you visit The Cutting Cafe Blog on or after May 7.  Leave a comment and you could win 3 sets of your choice!

Here's my idea of a pinwheel project:

I used several Cutting Cafe files to create this happy card.  The Pinwheel Sentiment & Cutting File Set were used to create the pinwheel and the 'Play Everyday' sentiment.  The flower in the middle of the pinwheel came from the Card in a Box embellishment set

Papers on this card are from Echo Park.  The frame dies are by Lawn Fawn.  The washi tape is from my stash.

I hope you check out all the wonderful creations by the super talented Cutting Cafe design team.  You won't be disappointed.  It is so great to be back on this team!  They have supported me so much through my cancer journey.

Christmas Cheer -- for Great Impressions Stamps

It's Friday, and time for a little mid-month inspiration at Great Impressions Stamps.  There's a monthly challenge going on and it's Anything Goes.  There's also a mood/color board for inspiration, if you prefer.

Here's what I made for the challenge:

This card uses Great Impressions rubber stamps, G510 - Christmas Friends, and A151 - Cheer.

I colored G510 - Christmas Friends with Copic markers. Papers are from Echo Park.  The Christmas tree die is from Cheery Lynn.

Here's the Inspiration board for this month's challenge:

There's still several weeks left of the month-long  Great Impressions Challenge blog.  We've got great prizes, and I'd love to see what you make!  If you used a Great Impressions Stamp, link it to the Customer Gallery for more chances to win.
