A Blessed Gift Bag - Guest Designing for SVG Attic

Today is my last day as guest designer at  SVG Attic.  I have so enjoyed my month, and thank Beth and her wonderful team for this opportunity!

Yesterday, I had lunch with two of my best friends.  I made two of these treat bags, filling them with chocolate - and love.

This gift bag is part of the JGW Sweetest Heart kit.  It is the Heart Window Tall Tote. I cut the bag out exactly as sized, using my Silhouette Cameo.  Papers are from Piggy Tales. The stamp is from Close To My Heart. I found a whole spool of the ribbon in a Ben Franklin store in Northern Minnesota for $1.  Score!

This bag is the perfect size to hold a few chocolates.  I think it's also perfect for any time of year to show affection and friendship.  My two friends loved them and the chocolate didn't last long!

You can find more gift bags, plus lots of other wonderful SVG files in the SVG Attic store.  Have you joined the SVG Attic Fanatics group on Facebook? You'll find lots of inspiration, great conversations, and fun there.

Thanks again to SVG Attic for this great opportunity!  I've enjoyed every minute of it!

A Spring Tulip -- for The Cutting Cafe

Happy Tuesday, fellow crafters.  It's nowhere near spring where I live.  In fact, we're still having below zero temperatures most nights.  So, when I'm dreaming of spring, and it's snowing outside, I make spring-like projects!  I think GREEN!
Green is the theme this week at The Cutting Cafe. Here's what I created:
I used quite a few shades of green on this card, then added some flowery prints, too.
I used the Tulip Card Set to create this Tall Tulip Card, and the Grass Shaped Card to create this.  Designer papers and ribbon are from Piggy Tales.  Card stock is from Close To My Heart. The sentiment is a stamp from My Pink Stamper.
Visit The Cutting Cafe blog on March 7 or later to see the other "Green" projects by this fantastic design team.  Leave a comment, and you could win 3 sets of your choice.  ANY sets!  Yeah!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
AUD Sentiments - Bingo (diecut, flowers, 2 patterned papers)
D.L. Art - March Linky Party

Happy Spring! for Crafty Sentiments

It's Saturday, and it's New Release time at Crafty Sentiments

I was fortunate enough to be able to design with "Isobel - Flower Fairy"  -- she makes me think of spring!

I colored "Isobel -- Flower Fairy" with Copic markers, then cut it out with 2 sizes of Lifestyle Crafts Circle dies.  The designer papers   and gems are from Piggy Tales.  The Glitter Trim is by Close To My Heart. You will find previews for the new releases on the Crafty Sentiments Inspirations blog each day until Feb. 25, so check it out each day to see the fun, talent, and inspiration.

A Valentine Rose -- for IDCB

It's Wednesday, and time for a new challenge at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog (IDCB). One of our sponsors this week is Doodle Pantry.  I love their images, papers, and sense of humor!  However, I went serious with this one.

This Doodle Pantry image is called "Rose Bloom". I comes in an uncolored and percolated version.  I chose the uncolored, then colored it with Copic markers, trying out some new, for me, shades of greens and pinks.
The sentiment is a stamps from Simon Says Stamp.
I used Lawn Fawn stitched dies on this, and papers by Piggy Tales -- Hickory Dickory Dock, 12x12.  The ribbon is from the same collection.  The bling is from My Mind's Eye. The card base is Pixie card stock from Close To My Heart
Join us this week at IDCB, where it's always "anything goes"!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Polkadoodles -- Flower Power
D.L. Art -- Valentine's Day
D.L. Art - Feb. Linky Party
AUD Sentiment -- Valentine

Back to School with The Cutting Cafe

This week, the Cutting Café design team is making projects using school themed cutting files and printable stamps.  I have to admit, this one was a bit more of a challenge for me than last week.  Sometimes I get an idea, and it doesn't quite turn out in real life like it looks in my head.  Ever have that happen?  This was one of those projects.
Well, enough babbling.  Let's get to the project.  I used the Pencil Box cutting file, You Color My World printable set, and the School borders printable set to make this:

The pencil box is BIG! And TALL! It holds 18 pencils.  The papers are by Piggy Tales.  The ribbon is from Close To My Heart. I printed the sentiment, then used a Spellbinders ribbon slide die.
Here's a different angle where you can see the box shape a little better.

I colored the School Borders Printable Set with watercolor pencils.
And, one more close up picture of the water colored pencils and the sentiment...

I'm using this pencil box to send some watercolor pencils to a crafty friend. I hope she likes it!
I am entering this pencil box in Ribbon Carousel's "Back to School" Challenge
