It's spring -- the Birds Need this House! for Simply Crafty SVGs

It's spring!  The birds are returning, and they are looking for places to nest.  My husband and I have several bird houses up in our yard, and he maintains some bluebird houses in a field near our house.  I like all things "bird" and "birdhouse".  I think that's why I found this SVG file at Simply Crafty SVGs so appealing.

This is the Bird House Box:

The box goes together very easily.  I used papers from Graphic 45.
The wooden bird is from Close To My Heart.

Here's a view of the lid of the box removed:

One more view of the fun Bird House box:

Simply Crafty SVGs has wonderful files.  They cut cleanly, have tutorials to help with assembly, and are fun to put together.  Now, that's worth doing a little shopping for, don't you think?  Start here!

Spring Beauty -- for The Path of Positivity

It's Monday, and it's time for a bit of mid-challenge inspiration on the Path of Positivity Challenge blog.  The theme this whole month is 'Beauty'.  I think that's such a nice theme for March, with Spring starting today.

We have 2 sponsors this month, and this challenge, I am working with digital collage sheets from Luna Girl

I made this card using Tags #2 -- Bright Flowers:

I used a portion of one of the flowers, cropped it, then enlarged it, making it the focal point of this card.  The sentiments was computer generated.

Papers on this card are from Graphic 45. I used a Top Dog die, and a Spellbinders die, a We R Memory Keepers scallop corner chopper, and the butterfly sticker charm is from Art C.

Join us this month at Path of Positivity Challenge Blog for our Beauty challenge.  You have until April 3.

We have several wonderful sponsors this week.  I am working with 2 of them -- Beccy's Place and Fabrika Fantasy

First, my card, using Blue Iris, from Beccy's Place:

I colored the Blue Iris image with my Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils.  Designer papers are from Graphic 45.  I used Spellbinders dies to cut out the image and back it.  Alphabet stickers are from my stash.  Triangle studs are from Close To My Heart

Card 2, from Fabrika Fantasy --

This is Dancing Squirrel.  I used the pre-printed squirrel and background paper that comes with the digi stamp.

All other designer papers on this card are from Photo Play - Autumn Day 6x6 collection.  The card base is from Bazzill basics.  The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.  I used my We R Memory Keepers Cloud Corner Chomper on this, too.

Have you discovered Stamps by Julia Spiri yet? They are the cutest ever!  You really owe it to yourself to check them out.  We're on to our third challenge already. Time flies when you're having coloring fun!

Our theme for the Julia Spiri Challenge starting today is -- add some bling.

French Lady was colored with Copic markers.  All the dies used on this card are from Spellbinders.  Papers and sentiment journal card are by Graphic 45.

I hope you join us this week at Julia Spiri Challenge blog for our 'Bling it Up' challenge.  You'll have an opportunity to win some cute images for yourself!
