Happy Autumn -- for Path of Positivity

It's time for some mid-challenge inspiration over on the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  Challenges are Anything Inspirational Goes, with an optional color theme.  This month's color is 'Orange'.   At least 51% of your project should be orange to qualify for the prizes from our awesome sponsors!

Speaking of sponsors, I had the fun of working with a collage sheet from Luna Girl

I used the rose from the Orange Digital Collage sheet on this card.

I created this center step card with a Sizzix die.  The papers and sentiment on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Fall Sentiment Set.  papers are from the Pumpkin Delight Paper Collection.  There's also a bit of Timeless Twine to finish off the card.

I hope you find time to join us this month at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog for our optional Orange Challenge.  It runs until September 2, and I'd love to see your creations!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Happy Holidays -- for the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

It's August, and one month close to Christmas.  Since it's the first of August, it's the start of a new challenge at the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.  This month, the theme is to use some Greenery on your Christmas cards.  That should be easy!

We have another great sponsor this month, Luna Girl.  If you like vintage images, you'll love Luna Girl.  I used the collage sheet, Tags:  Christmas Holly Digital Collection to create this card:

I also used 2 papers from another of our sponsors, Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The sentiment is also from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.

I hope you find time to create a Christmas card or two this month.  If you do, link them up at The 12 Months of Christmas.  I'd love to see what you create!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Be Brave -- for The Path of Positivity

It's time for some mid-challenge inspiration over on the Path of Positivity Challenge blog.  Our optional theme this month is "Choose your Favorite Color(s)".  Or, you can link up any inspirational project you'd like.

One of our sponsors this month is Luna Girl.  Luna Girl has a huge online treasury of vintage images.  You can find almost any vintage theme you can think of!

For this card, using my favorite color, pink, I used the Luna Girl digital collage sheet, Floral Labels, to create this:

I used one of the labels from the Floral Labels sheet, cropped it, then sized it to the size I wanted it.  The background was created on the card base itself, using 3 shades of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks.   The quote was found on a Unity Stamp set I own, but I  computer generated instead of stamping it to get it sized correctly.  The butterfly embellishment is from Art-C.

This time of year, when the spring flowers are in bloom in their soft pastel colors, I like pinks, aquas, lilac colors.  As the seasons change, so does my taste in colors.  Soon, I'll be craving summer brights, then fall earth tones.  For now, though, I'm reaching for pink often.

I hope you can still find time to link up with us over at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog for our optional 'Choose your favorite Color(s)' challenge.  I'd love to see what you create, and we have some great sponsors this month!

Thankful for Art -- and Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

Hello, crafty friends, and happy Labor Day to my American readers.  Today is the start of a new challenge at Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  We have a 3-month challenge theme, exploring the concepts of art, literature, and music.  For September, the theme will be art.  To be eligible for the prizes, tell us how your project ties in with art -- how are you affected by art, artistic masters, art in your home, sculptures, whatever!

Our guest sponsor this month is Luna Girl.  You'll find the most awesome vintage images at Luna Girl!  I used one of the images from the Summer Garden Digital Collage Sheet to create this:

Studying the masters is a great way to learn about light source.  It can help in my own coloring and shading.  I love how this vase is shaded and how the artists used shadows behind the daisies.  We can learn so much from other artists and learn from them in our own artistic journeys.

I hope you can join this month at Path of Positivity for our "Surround Yourself with Art" challenge.  It runs until October 1.   You can also link up any positive themed project if you don't want to use the alternate theme.

Spring Beauty -- for The Path of Positivity

It's Monday, and it's time for a bit of mid-challenge inspiration on the Path of Positivity Challenge blog.  The theme this whole month is 'Beauty'.  I think that's such a nice theme for March, with Spring starting today.

We have 2 sponsors this month, and this challenge, I am working with digital collage sheets from Luna Girl

I made this card using Tags #2 -- Bright Flowers:

I used a portion of one of the flowers, cropped it, then enlarged it, making it the focal point of this card.  The sentiments was computer generated.

Papers on this card are from Graphic 45. I used a Top Dog die, and a Spellbinders die, a We R Memory Keepers scallop corner chopper, and the butterfly sticker charm is from Art C.

Join us this month at Path of Positivity Challenge Blog for our Beauty challenge.  You have until April 3.

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

A Vintage Christmas -- for The 12 Months of Christmas

I'm posting this card for The 12 Months of Christmas Link-up.  The theme this month is Home for the Holidays, Vintage Style. It's time for some mid-month inspiration:

Our sponsor this month is Luna Girl.  If you like vintage, you definitely need to check out Luna Girl.  Her selection is incredible!

I used the 2.5 inch Rounds Christmas Birds & Holly Sheet on this card. Once it was printed, I chose which round I wanted to use, punched it out with a Creative Memories Circle Punch, then used a slightly larger punch to mat it. I wanted a black mat for emphasis, so used a Lifestyle Crafts Circle Die and Close To My Heart Black are Stock for the final layer.  The vintage snowflake designer papers are from Lisa Decosse, of Decosse's Dynamite Doodles. The set of papers is called Snow Fest.  The rhinestone swirl has been in my stash forever.  I picked it up long ago in an after Christmas clearance (Michael's or Joann's?).  The round sparkles are from Close To My Heart.

Join our 12 Months of Christmas Challenge.  Link up any Christmas card you'd like.  If it meets the theme, you'll be eligible for this month's prize!
