Art Everyday for a Month Book

While I was doing the last word prompt drawing book I remembered that I started something similar a while ago. It turns out it was in 2012...and I've just finished it recently.
The covers were made from plastic cardboard with washi tape over the edges - I did find that this started to peel off in places. I cut all the prompt words from magazines and stuck them in the book before I started. I did post four of the drawings in 2012 so if you think any are familiar you know why.

Beach Bicycle

The photograph was taken at a local beach.
The lovely image of the girl on her bicycle was from the Graphics Fairy.

Spoonflower Fabrics and AEDM

My very first batch of Spoonflower fabrics have arrived!
The top two are fat quarters. I've altered the one below as I thought the design was too large, so it is smaller now.

These are the swatches, some of which I thought were too large too, so some are smaller now. There are a couple that I need to alter colours on. I'll put some better pictures on next week.

Now I've got my swatches they are available to purchase and you can check out my Spoonflower shop here.

I have visitors coming tomorrow for a few days so I probably won't get a chance to post.
So I will post 4 pictures that I did in the book I was talking about a couple of days ago - art every day for a month. Thought I might as well use it for the challenge as it is the same thing.

Envelopes and IF [suspense]

I created this envelope on the computer using a free label from here and doing a few alterations such as space for a stamp. I printed it and made it into an envelope. The envelope below was already a cute little square brown envelope. For this one I used a purchased stamp to decorate around the edges.

Illustration Friday's challenge this week is 'suspense'. I used this drawing from my sketchbook of a giant prawn and a man on a beach. Are the tables turned? Will the prawn eat the man instead of the other way round?

Bag Winner and Boats

The winner of the Snowman bag giveaway, chosen by a random number generator is
Sherry Edwards

I started a sketchbook earlier this year with the intention of filling it with things boat/seaside connected, so far I have but I'm not finding it very slow going at the moment. The drawing above is from a different sketchbook but done around the same time [probably was the nearest to hand].
