Welcome to Altered Pages and I hope you are enjoying your Sunday! Susan here to share my Halloween type of headdress made of paper, ribbons, feathers and bling. Are you playing along with Altered Pages first " Alter Your Creativity " Headdress Challenge? There's still time. On Every Second Monday of the Month we plan to bring you a new Challenge to encourage you to step a little out of your comfort zone and " Alter Your Creativity ". Each Challenge will run until the last day of the Month and the Design Team will vote to pick an overall Winner and a Top 3. My paper hat is adorned with feathers and a beaded gem spider! The great thing about altered arts is that everything and anything can be used for creating. I created a simple paper hat form finished with a rim with a pretty sheet of patterned paper. I really love the "Fascinator" style headpieces - so I created my own to adorn my witch hat. WOW! Now this will be so fun to wear...

Last month Jean set the Design Team a Challenge to design a headdress.  She offered the following images to the team as inspiration.         To put it simply a headdress/headpiece is any item of clothing that adorns the head, it might be a crown, a helmet or simply a scarf embellished with jewels or feathers.  The only limit I guess as they say is your imagination.
