Hearts burst out in bloom! Layers of Love Bloom on this piece which can be a card or framed mixed media. I began with our luscious white corrugated paper, a Carefully used Stamp and 'gelpress' image papers.  I rubbed a pale red stamp pad over the corrugated. I wanted lots of layers with textures & interest.  Dew Drop hearts are whimsical. Punchinella (also known as sequin scrap) is a fantastic accent. In total, I had 6 layers of papers and punchinella.  I handwrote Love Blooms Eternal and added it amongst the scrap.  Then I outlined in black pental pen. "Love Makes the World go Round" with travel.  Traveling is one of my favorites things to do... I dream of the places I would love to visit next! Supplies: Manila Tag Paints Punchinella Brown mist Metallic Rub Gilding Foil DUO Altered Pages Collage Sheet Vintage Travel Bazzill Mini Edges Chipboard gears Tacky Glue Ink brown & gold Twine Black ink pen Glue Stick Dimensional Foam On Manila Tag  apply Paints using Punchinella , let dry.   Mist dry tag with Brown mist , then let dry. Apply Metallic Rub  randomly on the tag. Adhere Gilding Foil  with DUO  to the tag.  Add a Bazzill Mini Edge  to the bottom of the tag with Tacky Glue .   Type the words " LOVE to Travel" on the computer.  Draw lines around with black ink.  Use Metallic Rub  to age. Ink Chipboard gears  with  Inks - brown & gold .   Cut image from  Altered Pages...

Adhere to manila tag.   With Glue  attach Dew Drops  to the bottom of the manila tag .     Sign on the back like we did in grade school!     Come back for more inspiration tomorrow!    

Hmmmm, where will all this good stuff lead...? Today I have made a giant tag using the new "Tag Pad"  that Altered Pages now carries.  The paper is quality watercolor paper and  I LOVED working with it.    I am going to keep the commentary as short as possible and let the pictures do most of the talking (this should be interesting.)   A detailed supply list is provided and the end of this post.  Background created first with palette knife, gesso and punchinella.    I was too excited and forgot to snap a pic before I began painting.    Picture all of those circles started out white.  ;-)       The color was achieved by using watercolor and then a bit of   white and black acrylic around the edges.   The acrylic was just finger painted on.  This next pic is the back of the tag.    Now, pretty from both sides.  This is vintage text applied ...
