Steampunk ATB!

Hello, Francine here! I finished my Eileen Hull ATB and here it is for you to enjoy ~ I adhered the Altered Pages collage sheets to all sides of the box. On the ATB top is a Farthy, which is a Steampunk unicycle! Farthy's were developed in the 1880's and were named after the penny farthing coin (just a bit of trivia).    Sitting on the Farthy is a ballerina poodle with butterfly wings. The poodle actually TURNS! You can see the Poodle from all sides of the box . The spoke of the bike has a key that TURNS with glitter surrounding the mechanism. Above please notice a friendly giraffe who has been framed!  The lovely lady has a crown with a feather and flower that match her dress.  For the overall, Steampunk gears were added for lots of dimension.  I had a lot of fun making this ATB and look forward to my next project as a Design Team Member for Altered Pages!  Supplies used: Eileen Hull ATB Glue ...

Goin' Rogue!

Yes, I am that girl that tends to go rogue when a deadline is approaching!  That said deadline being this blog post! See, we recently changed up the DT calendar & I didn't have a thing ready to post since I had just posted last week & it's been a crazy "kid's outta school" week! SO, I decided to post something a little different...Don't get mad at me Jean, but, there are only a handful of supplies from AP used in the following pictures! BUT that is only because I was using up my own stash of stuff that has accumulated over the years & didn't have time to place an order before this post! But, OH how I wished I'd had even MORE of the fabulous finds from the AP shop!!! AND , ladies & gentlemen, this project can SO easily be done WITH many of the supplies purchased at Altered Pages!! So, without further ado, I present my Tiny Village ...I made these with my Art Gypsies gal-pals (we meet every month to do something fantas...

A Chunky ATC!

Believe it or Not, this ATC started out as a block of wood!! Yes, you can purchase  Artist Trading Blocks here at Altered Pages. They are a lot of fun since you have four sides and a top to work with.  To start paint the block with gold craft paint. Cover the side with  French Kiss Glitz Paper . Get the images you would like to use on your ATC, for this one images are from: Color ATC Pink Valentines of Nations ATCs Paris    This fussy cut lady was actually on a Valentine, a few feathers were added to her hat. On the sides with the ladies there are few gems in the lower right. A little netting was added to the hat behind the big bow of this lady.  The Eiffel Tower is from the  French Kiss Glitz Paper  pack.   The Leaky Shed Fancy Keyhole can be found at Altered Pages HERE ! Vintage trim from my stash was added around the bottom to give it a finished look. Finally it was topped off with beads, buttons and a...
