I altered a cigar box to make a gift box.     I used Prima flowers, Dixie Belle Chalk Paint, Sabor embellishments,Stencils with hearts, Gelatos, Art Alchemy Sparks Ginger Magic, fabric tape and MicaColor.  I used the lemonade chalk to cover the box. Then I  used the MicaColor to run the Sparkle Gold down the sides in drips. I took the Prima flowers and used a marker to color the edges and then sprayed with alcohol to blend the color. I use some textured cardstock and rubbed gold gelato on it to get a nice look.   I also used one of your stencils and cut out the bee medallion.  I used the Stencil and some Art Anthology to make a textured embellishment on the top and sides I used the seam tape and put the the ribbon on the top and side to keep closed. At AlteredPages we are having a blast with  Lost Coast Designs Stamps . The variety and quality of the stamps are so able to fill your head with artistic ideas. I went out of my comfort zone and picked some stamp images I would not usually choose. They made me conjure up new project ideas. This post is a tale of two Cowboy Dudes who meet up after a trail ride. The Saloon was THE meeting place and welcomed all sorts of miscreants.   Dusty and tired, they gathered for some drinks, dancing and companionship.   I started by Stamping the image with my Donna Salazar Mix'd Media INKX black stamp pad.  I then fussy cut the images,  I am a bit OCD about that so I had to get out my Exacto knife too.  I used my KAI scissors which I have been cutting with for 7 years and they are still amazing!  I wanted to play with colors and mediums, so I got out my metallic wax, inks, and stamp pads.   I added gold Delicata ink...

Day of the Dead is one of my favorite themes to create! The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died.  Since losing several family members it has a special place in my heart now.  SABOR has wonderful papers to use for the celebrations.
