Can YOU spell ATC?

That is how we will spell September! How creative can we all get with ATC's? (Artist Trading Cards) Put them in a tin, create a mini book, get funky!   PRIZES WIL BE GIVEN! An ATC is the same size as a playing card,  (2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches) you can buy them precut or cut them for yourself.   ATC's can be dimensional Pocket pages use ATC size inserts Collages are perfect for creating ATCs Get your tins with or without ATC cards.... Fabric and sewing embellishments are darling ATC's And OF COURSE Holiday ATCs are awesome Join us this month for ATC Awesomeness!     Prizes will be given weekly by random drawing to one lucky person.   You simply send a photo of your ATC creation*, we will add it to the blog.    You can submit any day of the week. Life's a Beach Tin w/ Beach Rules! ATC's - IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko

As you know this month the Altered Pages Design Team is fortunate enough to be co-hosting a month full of fun with IMAGINE Crafts /Tsukineko combining the wonderful products of both companies into our creations. For my final project of the month I wanted to share  a fun box full of ATC's which are in fact:  BEACH RULES! The tin was inked initially with Mellow Mint Opaque StazOn ink to which I applied a layer of GlazOn. I then added Blue Hawaii, Midnight Blue and Spiced Chai StazOn Midi's.  The fun group of friends at the beach image is from the collage sheet On The Beach  .  I added a bit of wadded glassine envelope, micro beads a tiny star fish all adhered using Vintage Creative Medium. When you flip the lid open you'll find the...Beach Rules ATC's!  Inside the cover of the tin is an image of a wooden arrow pointing the way to the swimming hole.   But this is also Beach Rule  #1 - Swim Often! It's Dem Bones Time Again!

I have Halloween on the brain! In particular,   SKELETONS ! Hi all, Becky here today to share a little project with you for Halloween ! Altered Pages has so many fun & spooky collage sheets for all your Halloween projects, as well as kits, altering supplies & more!! Be sure to check it out soon!! I know the Design Team is hard at work making more Holiday-themed kits for you, so keep an eye on the store ! I started with an Altoid-type tin with a hinged lid. I wish that I had had one of AP's ATC tins since the lids aren't hinged & I would have left it off because it won't close completely with the ribcage inside. Silly me didn't think of that when I was working on it! HA! I did an Elmer's Glue crackle application to the tin. {You can see how on my blog post HERE .} I used my Crop-o-dile {YES, the Crop-o-dile!} to punch several holes together where the head, arms & legs would go, set them with E6000 glue & let dry overnig...
