Getting Ready for Christmas

Hi everyone it's Danie here today!  Can you believe it's less than eight week's until Christmas!  For my family the past few weeks have been so busy that I thought it best to start thinking about Christmas and making some To Do Lists.  So in order to do so I made this quick and easy Christmas Planner using one of the Vintage Santa Images from the - 1111D - Santa Santa Santa Collage Sheet  you'll find at Altered Pages and some bits and pieces in my stash. Inside I've added some paper from an old note pad which I have cut to size and stamped with a Christmas Sentiment for my list making and it also has a pocket so that I can keep my postage stamps, spare gift tags and the like on hand. My lists once complete will need to be visible so I also made a quick Moo Card Fridge Magnet with a smaller image from the same Collage Sheet to keep them on the Fridge and I will use some of the other images a bit later to make some gift tags and greetin...

Image Transfer Project

Hi everyone !!! Going to share a little experiment / project I did !!! I love all the collage sheets at Altered Pages & wanted to transfer some of the images from the paper to fabric ! I used a product called Ink Aid , I  rolled the product on to clear transparency sheet , let it dry and then sent it through my printer !! I used the Altered Images I  with butterflies . You can choose from the many images available ! Your image may not be the brightest , and depending on your printer and image choice it may come out different, but that is half the fun ....experimenting !! After my little project was stitched up I added embellishments , the rusty key was attached with one of the light bulb saftey pins  from Altered Pages , I love those little tiny pins !! The DREAM is stamped on bias tape and then attached ! I used a pen to outline my images, added some pearls , vintage buttons and trims and my little " quilt" was done ! As in some projects I always ...

Bitty Book Necklace

Hi everyone , Eunice here from The Little Things !!! Going to share a little project for you for making some sweet bitty book necklaces !! I used several images from AP  , you can choose any of the many many designs that are offered , I used a butterfly and clock face ! I cut out the image I want , then seal with diamond glaze or any clear sealer to make it more durable. If you want to have a message or text of any kind do the same with them , set aside and let dry ! I used grunge paper for the cover and added texture with a cuddlebug folder , when done you can use a distress tool on the edges to give a worn look ! I cut out however many pages for the book and also distressed them  ( I also used vintage images from AP for the inside pages ) ! Using a brad setter , add brads to the top so you can attach your chain . I hope everyone is having a great start to your summer , don't forget to take time to be creative !! Eunice
