I prepped after school until the choir concert. I got a phone call asking if I could lead the music at the fireside that night. I said yes and then mentally had to think through how I was going to do that. I kept working on my classroom. Ross brought the girls and I met them at the concert. He slipped out to take Abby to her tournament game in Woodland. I stayed through the concert, then we rushed to the faculty room so I could pick up my printing. We rushed home (Ross had picked up pizza for dinner), I threw on a skirt and rushed back to the diaper center with 3 min to spare. Elder Brent Nielsen was visiting.

Here's my view from my seat. I led #201 as the opening song and I think #206 was the closing song. He showed lots of slides and video clips of himself speaking at different meetings and instead of moving down with the congregation, I looked at his laptop.
Here's a picture he showed of all the Stake Presidents of Peru, not counselors, just Presidents.

The whole basis of his message was our testimonies are simple, go through complexities and then come out as simple again. He cautioned us to not bail while we were being challenged and stretched with complexities and if we did we would miss out on the miracles. He told many stories (mission in Finland, dad dying after mission, sister leaving the church, serving as area in Phillipines during catastrophe, serving on missionary committee and helping 30,000 arrive home during COVID.)

As soon as I was done I said hi to a few people as I walked to my car and then left to go home and eat dinner after 8pm.
