Checking out and Taking Down Christmas

 Dec 27...

The night before I went down in the lobby for a few minutes to sit by the tree in the quiet hotel.

The next morning there was limited seating left for breakfast. We sat at the bar counter.

We went up and get dressed. No one wanted to swim. Ross and Abby and I played the card game Five Crowns... Score for five crowns --- R 62, Ab 118, An 51 (lowest score wins!)

I tried to get a photo of us in the elevator as we checked out (right on the minute and they were there to clean our room) and had all of our belongings. It was nice staying two nights and going home in between. We didn't have to carry that much stuff. So nice to not have to pack much.

In the hotel lobby after we got off the elevator. You can see the Christmas garland around behind us.

If you look close you can see the State Capitol Building, all the way down the street

We drove through Old Sacramento

Abby wanted to use this blanket for the guineas -- it was one of my baby blankets made by Brother Jakes. A widower that sat near our family and made a blanket for mom's new baby (me), if I remember correctly. I'll have to ask her.

Christmas decor, wet and old, made by Jane Emma and Jill in 2nd grade. Taking a photo to remember the cuteness.

Taking a photo of our Come Follow Me Christmas lesson -- 12 symbols of Christmas-- before taking it down.

Goodbye wood string art made two years ago.
We spent all day taking down Christmas trees, decor, lights and Christmas gifts. So nice to get some order to our home.
