Clinic & Capitol Reef (day 2)

Emma coughed much of the night and had a bad fever. Ross took her to a clinic in Bicknell. She was tested for covid and flu and tested positive for influenza A. With her appointment at 10:15am it made for a big delay at starting at Capitol Reef. We saw the petroglyphs and then went to Hickman Bridge. Emma couldn't breeze very well so she went back to the car and waited for us. Then we drove up 24 and saw the B cabin, the scenic way to Cainesville, back to Fruta for visitor center magnet, "lunch snack" near pie shop (rolls and popcorn -- brrrr! at 30 degrees), the Castle and Panorama Point, Gooseneck Point and Sunset View. We stopped for dinner at La Cueva -- yummy, but a total joke. An hour for take-out, waiting half the time without a menu and an extra service fee? Some of the girls swam in the pool and I joined them. Then showers, hair washing, scriptures, DespicMe 2, and bed.

Oodles of photos that loaded backwards...
