April Fools

April Fools!
I sent out an email to YW families and said we had a temple trip scheduled that night and a recognition night later in the month.... but April Fools--everything is cancelled.

I put out a few pages for Jill to do. We had a private police parade, got heart-attacked, went to the park for kite flying.

I love the color border Jill created.
April Fool's... Girls hacked brother's phone and spelled April Fool's with his icons and the twins dressed up like each other.

Police came to our house (twice) today.
...April Fool's

Heart Attack
What a fun surprise! Thank you, whoever you are! We love the SWEET notes and the cookies! Made our day

We had the remaining hot dog casserole for dinner and then went to the park for some fresh air and activity. Kids are starting to fight more -- wagon and kites.

The kids were disappointed I didn't do any big prank for April Fools, "like turn the milk blue or turn the toilet water green"... then while they were at the table, but not paying attention I added a drop of blue food coloring to their cups (which they didn't see) and poured the milk. They finally noticed and were confused their cup of milk was blue but the jug of milk was still white.... hahaha! April Fool's!

Blue Milk

We had BLUE milk at dinner tonight. April Fools! And just like that, March is over...

And we're excited for general conference this weekend!
... like making space on the kitchen counter for this orange peel that I was prohibited from throwing away for two days because of it's shape. :)

Daddy's Shoulder Angels

Somebody is getting excited for Studio C to start again with new episodes on Monday. The kids took turns being Daddy's "shoulder angel". It was Emma's idea first and then everyone wanted to take a turn. Allen had the hardest time with it. Matt Meese sure makes it look easy on the show.

Jill had four shots yesterday and one heel poke. She did awesome. Jill is 21 lbs and 30. 5 inches long--that comes out to 86% for length and 60% for weight. Long and slender.

Jane and Emma were coloring pictures at the table. Now they are sorting crayons in bags for their dog show, they tell me.

Last night the youth did a scavenger hunt (it was really a service scavenger hunt--April Fools) and for refreshments after they said they had brownies (a plate with a pile of brown E's on it--ha!) and then they pulled out the watermelon and real brownies. The prize for the bingo card (you completed a square with each room in the house you did service in) for the most completed service was awarded whoopie cushions-ha! April Fools again. The leaders had fun with it as you can see.

Last night after 10pm, Ross took a break from work and went running in a rainstorm. Talk about dedication. I worked on some plastic canvas and finished the first season of D Abbey.

Allen and Abby start their first science class, Mythbusters, after school today. They are excited.
