Tracy Girls

Scrappy Monday, y'all!  And today is my birthday, too!  So far not too different from any other day off of work...did some yoga (but an hour instead of 30 minutes), started some laundry and I'm running the dishwasher :) But when I finish breakfast, I'll be heading upstairs to have some fun in my craft room, and the menu for tonight is pizza, cake, and ice cream.  I like it!

This layout features pictures from when Ryan was about two months old and one of my besties drive down with her girls to meet him for the first time and spend their spring break week in the DC area.  I adore all three of those girls :) And for once I got to use a lot of pink in my scrapbook!

Today's retired color palette includes Regal Rose, Tempting Turquoise, Lovely Lilac, Certainly Celery, and Whisper White.  Sure we have Basic White now, but if you want to get technical then Whisper White is also retired.

Cheers, y'all!  I'm gonna go have some fun with paper, ink, and stamps.

Supplies, all SU!
Stamps:  Tall Tales Alphabet, Big Pieces, Little Pieces
Ink:  Regal Rose, Tempting Turquoise, Lovely Lilac
Paper:  Regal Rose, Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery, Thick Whisper White, Flowers for You

Ryan: January

Ooh hey, we finally hit 2018 in Ryan's baby book, and since his birthday is in February that means we're almost done!  Which means I'll start sharing the baby book layouts for my nephew next, haha.  I haven't made any more baby books since that one though.

I was keeping track of what colors I used for Ryan's baby book and by this point I was like NEEDS MOAR PURPLE so that's why the Rich Razzleberry page base.  Not sure it was the best decision, but that's what I did.  I picked a colorful patterned paper and then used the same colors for my photo mats so this January layout is anything but dreary.  And also THAT YODA HAT.  I love it.

Pretty much got a full rainbow happening here:  Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango, Lucky Limeade, Pacific Point, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White.

Until next time, stampy friends!

Playground Puppy

Scrappy Monday, y'all!  Man, I got some stuff DONE this weekend.  I finished up two layouts except for 5x7 photos I have to have printed off, two more layouts are completely done, and yet another one is about halfway there.  But today I'm sharing a layout I finished a week or two ago.

Tiny puppy Sadie's first trip to the playground!  She actually likes going down slides; I've seen her climb up to one and slide down all on her own.  Feels like I've been ping-ponging back and forth between baby Sadie layouts and baby Ryan layouts, but that's okay.  These pictures are from 2006 and I'm making a big effort to finish scrapping my oldest pictures.

Today's color palette is super bright and cheery:  Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Blueberry Bushel, and Whisper White.  I figured it was appropriate to post today since it still feels like summertime outside.  Next weekend, even if it still feels like summertime in the swamp, I'm making pumpkin coffee cake for breakfast because I can't wait for fall!

Cheers, y'all!

Bath Time for Sadie

Scrappy Monday, y'all!  And today I have one of my most recent scrappy finishes...

Bath time for Sadie when she was but a wee pup!  Like, 12 years ago.  So I just finished the pages but the photos themselves are pretty old.  At least I'm getting them done?  Anyway, I could have SWORN I had a rubber duck die cut somewhere, from back in the day when we had locally owned scrapbook stores and they had racks and racks of die cut shapes of just about anything you can imagine, but apparently I imagined the duck.  So I found some clip art on the computer and just printed it on Daffodil Delight cardstock.  I hope that the printer ink doesn't flake off the cardstock...

Something else to make you giggle:  see that pink cup the hubs is using to pour water on Sadie?  We're using that EXACT SAME CUP now when we give the kiddo baths.

Today's color palette includes Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, and Whisper White.  Plus a fair amount of Basic Black on Sadie and the journaling.

Hope your week is off to a good start.  I'm excited to go to the gym in my new workout pants!  ...It's weird what adults get excited about.  Cheers!

Stamps:  Big Deal Alphabet, Big Pieces
Ink:  Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Basic Black marker
