Pretty Patterns
I did the single circular pattern on my tablet and uploaded it to the computer, I've no idea why part of it was missing, I can't remember whether I did it off centre on purpose.
I layered the pattern in Photoshop, this one is not a repeating pattern.
I drew the single pattern on the tablet. The corner bits were added on the computer with Photoshop. Then the design was made into a repeating pattern.

Patterns and Motifs
These are my version of drawings found in The Encyclopedia of Patterns and Motifs - these being Peruvian textiles. And these are some with various alterations.
I drew a picture of an onion being chopped and a watery eye for an illustration Friday contest, the word strong I think, but I didn't like it so I didn't enter it. I've since done a paint job on the top. I used a hand made stamp to make marks and painted over when dry. I used brusho inks and it could be used as a background page now.

Sketchbook Pages
One page from sketchbook 26 - patterns with pens, probably promarkers. This sketchbook is A4 size while the pictures below are from a smaller sketchbook [8x5"], a moleskine. The moleskine [no 30] has much better paper than the book above. I can't remember what make the book above is...but it was cheap. And as I fill a lot of books, cheap sometimes wins over quality. The one thing I do like about it though is that it is bigger than the moleskine. Also with a cheap book I don't mind ripping the odd page out if the drawing is too awful but I wouldn't like to that with the moleskine.
