13 Days of Hallowe'en #10 Featuring Hallowe'en Mice from Di's Digi Stamps

Good morning and welcome to my 10th day of my 13 Days of Hallowe'en! I can't believe how quickly Hallowe'en has come around. Although we have decorated the house, got our treat bags ready for any trick-or-treaters, bought the pumpkins and I've now finished all my cards, I still feel like I still have quite a bit to do. We still need to carve the pumpkins and I need to write out and send all my cards too!

Anyway...on to today's card. This was a quick and easy one as the image was quite large, so it didn't leave much room for much else!

13 Days of Hallowe'en #7 Featuring Happy Hayrides Halloween from Your Next Stamps

Good morning and welcome to my 7th day of my 13 Days of Hallowe'en special. For today's card I have used a stamp set that I have had for ages and found in a miscellaneous box of stamps! I actually don't have the original Hayrides stamp set so don't have the tractor, but this still looks cute all put together like this.

I found this patterned paper amongst my Hallowe'en papers and thought the background would be perfect for this stamp set as the cat takes her friends round for a bit of trick or treating, filling up those carts with all the goodies they have collected! The only things I added were the sentiment and the bats as that part of the sky was too empty!

Recipe:

Stamps: Happy Hayrides Halloween from Your Next Stamps

The Paper Shelter Challenge #470 For the Boys & Men

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week our challenge is to make a male themed project and although I don't make these very often, I love the range of boy themed stamps that Veronica has in the Paper Shelter store.

I chose to use Pizza Chef for my card - I love his cute happy face! I found some old Stampin' Up patterned papers and the squared one reminded me of the tiles in my local Frankie and Benny's restaurant, so thought it would work well here too! I did get a bit stuck with a sentiment though, but found this one in a Clearly Besotted stamp set along with the pizza slice. I obviously need more pizza themed stamps! 😉

#mermay Challenge 26 - Other Sealife Creatures

Hello everyone! Today's #mermay challenge is to use other sealife creatures, so any animal that has not already featured on my list!

I guess strictly speaking otters are more river creatures than sea life, but I love these cuties with their mermaid friend, so that's what I'm using! This image is another of Sweet November Stamps mermaids - Shimmer Redkelp and Otto the otter.

I inked the background up first and then cur lots of vellum waves and added them to the top, gluing the edges round the back of the inked card. Love the effect the vellum has given to this image.

Papers: Sweet Sugarplum (Retired), Coastal Cabana & Very Vanilla all from Stampin' Up, Under The Sea Patterned Papers from Doodlebug, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty, White Vellum from Anita's

Faery Ink Mermaid Birthday Besties

Good morning and welcome to another inspiration post from me for Faery Ink. I am using the gorgeous Mermaid Birthday Besties digi stamp to create this fabulous seashell shaped card. You can also find this image in the Mermaid Birthday Party Pack.

After playing around with the layout for a while I finally decided to make a little bit of a pop up on the bottom mermaid so that she would stand up when the card is opened.
