Ink 'n' Splatter Inspiration Post - Strawberry Fields Mice

Good afternoon and welcome to my inspiration post for Ink 'n' Splatter. This week I have used the adorable Strawberry Fields Mice with one of my new die sets to make this fun, interactive card.

This is a slimline slider pop up card and when closed it looks like this, with the two cute mice gathering their strawberries.

But when opened, it reveals the cute mouse hiding away and having some strawberry jam and bread! How cute is that?! I think this die might be one of my new faves! (Think I say that every time I buy a new interactive one!)

And a side view...

This card is for

Stampers Delights New Release Tutorial - Chibi Friendship Grows

Good evening and welcome to another Stampers Delights DT post from me. For today's card I have used the newly released Friendship Grows and as the sentiment uses the word grows, I just had to make part of the image "grow" as well. I hope you check out my full step-by-step tutorial over on the Stampers Delights blog to see how I made this card.

I used the flowers from the stamp set to create the matching patterned papers. You can see the pull tab with the second flower just behind the purple potted flower and when you pull the tab...

...the second flower "grows!" How fun is that!

Stampers Delights New Release Tutorial - Kawaii Cute As A Bug

Good evening everyone and welcome to my DT post for my new tutorial for Stampers Delights. The new clear stamps release this month were all so cute and I got to work with 2 out of the 3 sets. I decided for both of my tutorials this month that these sets would work brilliantly on interactive cards, so that is what I have done!

Today's card uses the cute Kawaii Cute As A Bug set, which you can find here in the store and I made a slider card using some dies as I wanted to make it look like she was flying above her flowers to water them!

Something Else on Saturday Challenge #113 Featuring Bake Off from Clearly Besotted

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday challenge post. This week I have attempted to use another of my interactive die sets, but boy was this one a challenge!

Not sure if you have tried the magic iris dies from Lawn Fawn, but they just did not want to play nicely at all. I must have spent about 2 hours trying to get the mechanism to work. I watched various different videos on You Tube and I was doing exactly what they showed, but it would just not turn at all. I tried removing the connector bits and using washi tape instead and various other things, but each time was the same.

I then changed the cardstock I was using from Stampin' Up card to this incredibly thin Ultimate Graphic paper and it worked better. Still took a bit of coaxing to get it to work though! And even now I have put the card together, it's not quite sitting correctly! Grrr! I will have to try again and see what I can do to make it work properly! If you have any useful tips, please do let me know!

This is the card with the magic iris closed...

Something Else on Saturday Challenge #112 Featuring Merwees Set #1 from Sweet November Stamps

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday post. I have been buying lots of interactive dies over the past few months, but have not got round to using most of them, so I thought I would have a play with one to make a card for today's post. I used the adorable Merwees Set #1 from Sweet November Stamps with the Slimline Pull Tab Dies from Heffy Doodle to make this fun card.

I'm definitely going to have another play with this die set as it was actually really easy to do. I would like to try making a longer pull next time though!
