Good morning and welcome to this week's All Things Magical and Mythical post. I am almost back to my usual work/home routine now, so I am hoping to get my blog back up and running properly as well now!

For this week's post, I thought I would colour up one of my larger images - this one is from Selina Fenech. I loved this image and went with an Autumn colour combo and a sunset sky as well. Scene It Sunday #164 featuring Penguin Dance from Whimsy Stamps

Good morning! I can't believe we are almost half way though November already. Before we know it the holiday festivities will be starting and I haven't bought a single gift yet! Best get my skates on!

For today's card, I have my first non DT Christmas/winter card of the year and I'll be honest, I totally cheated on this one. I found this background scene patterned paper and sentiment in some old magazine freebie paper pack that is full of various scenes and winter/Christmas patterned papers. Must have had it for years, but it came in very handy for today's card. The cute image is from Whimsy Stamps, which was a freebie ages ago in their Facebook group.

Recipe:

Stamps: Penguin Dance from Whimsy Stamps

Something Else on Saturday #198 Featuring Delish from Penny Black

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday post. This week I have dug out a stamp that I bought ages and ages ago and have never used. Once upon a time I used to use Penny Black stamps a lot and have loads of the wood mounted ones somewhere, but I haven't used one in so long! I thought these cute little fairy bears were just adorable though!

I used one of my favourite paper packs from Lili of the Valley/NitWit Collections, Country Meadow, as well, but I'm getting low on this now! And that ribbon is just gorgeous, but one I don't use very often either! You know, it's fun finding old stuff in my craft stash that I had forgotten about!

Something Else on Saturday #162 Featuring Rockabilly Girls from C.C. Designs

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday post. This week I have used the adorable Rockabilly Girl from C.C. Designs, but this was the digital version from way back when they still did digi stamps. It is still available as a clear rubber stamp set though.

I went for a fairly simple design on this one, mainly because I wanted the girls to stand out and the background needed to be cute but more neutral as they are so brightly coloured too. I added a fun sentiment from an old Whimsy Stamps set, added a bow in the corner and a few gems and it was all done!

The Paper Shelter Challenge #518 - Under The Sea

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week's challenge is called Under The Sea, so we would love to see your cards and projects showing things you can find under the sea. It can be sea life animals and plants, submarines, mermaids, whatever else you can think of!

I used the gorgeous The Mermaid and the Treasure with the accompanying background paper. To create this scene, I printed the patterned paper with the PNG file over the top in the right position. Then I printed the same sized image again, before colouring and fussy cutting her out. It was very fiddly to cut out but so worth it as I love how this one cam out in the end. It didn't need much in the way of decorating so I just added some glittery bubbles and a sentiment!

This card is also for

Good morning and welcome to Day #10 of my 13 Days of Hallowe'en. For today's card, I have used this adorable digi stamp from Star Jam Lines, Witch Hat with Bat. The bat is such a cutie. Typical of me!
