Thank You with Butterflies

Just a really quick card I made this morning for In The Pink's Challenge #44 Simply Sentimental - to make the sentiment the focus of your card. We're getting close to the end of the school year and lots of thank you cards will be needed soon, so an ideal chance to get one done!

A Splash of Razz

Monochromatic Thanks

This was a quick card I did this morning for Cupcake Craft Challenge #239 to use a monochromatic colour scheme and for SC433 for the sketch. I went for the classic black and white and pulled out my Damask designs set, which I haven't used in a while and love how this one came out!

And here's my card.

Late Birthday Wishes

Another late blogged card from Sunday's crafting session. This one is for Viva La Verve's Sketch #4 for February and Lovefest Challenge J, also hosted by Verve Stamps, to use their signature colours of aqua and brown with either pink or yellow. Of course I chose pink! I have this gorgeous pad of First Edition Papers all in brown, aqua and pink so I pulled out some pretty sheets and came up with this fairly quick and simple card.

Recipe:

Stamps: Tag Time, Making A Statement both from Verve Stamps

Papers: Pool Party, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla all from SU, Summer Breeze Patterned Papers from First Edition

Inks: Pretty in Pink from SU

Accessories: Ribbon, buttons and gems all from my stash, Die-Namics Double Scallop Border Die from MFT, Curvy Bookplate Die from Verve Stamps

And that's all for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by.

Mashing Up The Mojo

A quick card I made this morning for Mojo Monday's Challenge #275 for the sketch and Friday Mash Up's Challenge #92 to use a mix of different patterns and at least 3 from these colours: Summer Starfruit, Tangerine Tango, Island Indigo, Early Espresso and Sahara Sand - the exact same colours that are in the new Sycamore Street DSP from Stampin' Up's Sale-A-Bration event which is coming up on January 22nd. I received half a pack of this DSP in my pack at Stampin' Up training day yesterday and there are some really lovely patterns in it. Can't wait to get my hands on the matching buttons and ribbons at the end of this month when I make my own SAB order!

Anyway...here's my card.

Couple More Christmas Cards

Just a couple more Christmas cards I made today- trying to get ahead of myself as I always run short regardless of how early I start making them! My mum and mother-in-law always have a few as well so need to make some for them as well! I try not to do multiples of the same card as I like to make different designs for everyone as well, so have a biggish job on my hands!

Anyway...one to this first card which is for Waltzing Mouse's Sketch Challenge #125 and CC402 to use Perfect Plum, Night of Navy and White  I pulled out my new Very Vintage Christmas set and came up with this one!

Recipe:

My next card is for Sweet Stop's Sketch Challenge #186, Friday Mash Up's Challenge #86 to use non holiday stamps to make a holiday card (Can you guess what mine are? I used the Delicate Doilies stamp to make the patterns on my baubles and the tall tree from Lovely As A Tree for the branch they are hanging off!) and for CR84FN68 to use these colours, although I did add a bit of olive green as well.

And here's my card.

Sharing Some Sketches on Sunday

I didn't get as much crafting time today as usual as I have been a naughty girl and had to attend a drivers awareness course all afternoon for getting caught speeding! Oops! Was the most boring 4 hours I have wasted in a long time!

Anyway on to my cards. This first one is for Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge #155 for the sketch and I used my new Fernanda Flamenco for this one - isn't she just gorgeous?! I totally love her dress, although it got a bit mind boggling working out where all the folds were supposed to go. I kind of just guessed in the end. I made this card for one of my TAs birthday's on Tuesday so I hope she likes it!

Recipe:

My next card is for The Sweet Stop's Sketch Challenge #185 and I added the twist of tasty treats as well this time and for A Passion for Papertrey's Challenge to use numbers on a card. I generally don't do numbers on a card unless it's for a big birthday and I don't have any kids' birthdays coming up either, so just used my HB2U stamp instead to make this card for a teenage girl's birthday.

Recipe:

And my final card for today is for Create with Connie and Mary's Challenge #227 for the sketch and ColourQ's Challenge #163 to use these lovely autumnal colours, although I did swap the white for vanilla as the DSP had vanilla in.

And here's my little card - these would be great for my up-coming workshop.
