All Dressed Up Challenge #52 Anything Goes

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge at All Dressed Up. As always our challenge is an anything goes one, but please remember that you MUST use an image from  All Dressed Up. We have had a few entries recently that do not qualify for the prizes as they haven't used one of Wendy's fabulous images. You can buy them here in the etsy store, or grab a freebie from this page on the challenge blog, or even head over to Noor Design UK and buy the rubber stamps from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps or head over to Funky Kits and grab some of  their rubber stamps too. Lots of All Dressed Up stamps to choose from!

I used one of my new rubber stamps, A Girl Can Never Have Too Many and made it into a French themed card. Just had to use my Eiffel Tower dies as well, which I got for Christmas and haven't used before! Naughty naughty! I managed to get my distress inks out on this one, which I rarely do and actually quite like how the colouring looks on this card.

Recipe:

Stamps: A Girl Can Never Have Too Many from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps, Think Big Favorites #3 from Papertrey Ink

Papers: Blushing Bride, Old Olive, Very Vanilla & Basic Grey all from Stampin' Up, Fabriano Artistico Watercolour Paper, Sweet Paris Patterned Papers from Dovecraft

Inks: Strawberry Slush (Retired) from Stampin' Up, Tim Holtz Distress Inks

Accessories: Eiffel Tower Die from La-La Land Crafts, Sweet Paris Ribbon and Lace both from Dovecraft, Doily from eBay, Pearl String from stash, Flowers & Stamens from Wild Orchid Crafts & Noor Design UK

Distress Inks Used:

Pale Pink - Worn Lipstick, Spun Sugar

And that's all from me for this post folks! Thanks for  stopping by and don't forget to pop on over to the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog and check out all the other gorgeous cards from the DT and why not join in the fun whilst you're there too?!

The Outlawz Friday Colouring Challenge Colour Inspiration Week

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge over at The Outlawz Friday Colouring Challenge. This week we have a gorgeous Autumnal colour palette for you to use - I thought these colours would work great for a turkey themed Thanksgiving card, but as we don't celebrate it over here in the Uk, I have no images that would work at all.

Instead I went with a cute bear stamp that I found in my box of random stamps! This was also my first attempt at using distress inks without being in one of Tracy Payne's classes! I think he came out ok, but I think he needs a bit more texture on his fur.

Recipe:

Stamps: Popcorn The Bear Thanks A Bunch from Crafter's Companion

Papers: Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie Prints DSP (Retired) & Old Olive Prints DSP (Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Fabriano Artistico Watercolour Paper

Inks: Pumpkin Pie from Stampin' Up, Distress Ink Markers from Tim Holtz

Accessories: Pumpkin Pie Ribbon (Retired) from Stampin' Up, Buttons from stash, Filigree Border Die from Papertrey Ink

Distress Inks Used:
Leaves - Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters
Flowers - Gathered Twigs, Spiced Marmalade, Ripe Persimmon, Rusty Hinge
Bear - Tattered Rose, Gathered Twigs, Antique Linen
Ground - Antique Linen

And that's all from me for this post folks! Thanks for stopping and don't forget to pop on over to the Outlawz Friday Colouring Challenge and check out all the other gorgeous cards from the DT and why not join in the fun whilst you are there too?!
