Pipe Dream Polish ~ Electric Soul

Pipe Dream Polish ~ Electric Soul
Blurple base with various colours of microflakies and microglitter

I’ve been RAOK’d!! RAOK mean Random Act Of Kindness and it means that somebody does something for you for no other reason than because they want to! Sounds pretty cool, no?

So Maria sent me four polishes because she knew I’d enjoy them. And she’s absolutely right, I will!

Today I’ll show you Electric Soul from Pipe Dream Polish. Application was super easy and the coverage was good. I used two relatively fast drying coats for this mani, and I finished with a layer of topcoat. Here’s what Electric Soul looks like:

I love the little flecks, they look fantastic!

The fact that the flecks and the shimmer has a different colour than the base colour makes this really cool.

I made a diagonal line of dots on each nail using Sephora’s Formula X: “Freaky like Freud”.

And here is my final mani – photographed with one of my rings:

I was over the moon to receive such a cool polish from Maria! She made some cool swatches of this polish too – you should definitely check her post about it out too – it’s right here!

Thank you SO much Maria! That was really sweet of you!

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Various colours of microflakies and flecks
Overall impression: Fantastic colour with a great mix of flakies and flecks!
Buy again: Yes

If you want this polish and you don’t know someone who will send it to you as a RAOK, you can buy it in Edgy Polish’s webshop right here.

Sephora in Denmark!

It finally happened! Sephora opened a huge store in the centre of Copenhagen yesterday. I was there, obviously. And I took a few photos!

Here's what I came for in the first place:

Sephora's own nail polish line. The small bottles hold 5 ml (0.16 Oz) and cost 35DKK (6.14US$/3.85GP£). The larger bottles hold the double amount and are only a fraction more expensive, but they don't come in as many cool colours!

They also sell Nails Inc. It's the first time I've seen that here. Prices are high though - from 120 to 135 DKK (21US$/13.2GP£ to 23.7US$/14.85GB£). I've seen them online in European shops for about 100 DKK.

Here's some other stuff I liked. Lipsticks!

There were so many colours that it was insane! I believe the price was 120DKK (21US$/13.2GP£) for a lipstick.

Bath stuff. Too bad I don't have a tub!

And more bath stuff. I'd absolutely love to own a tub!!!

And the best of all? I got a free present. I could chose between a tiny bottle of perfume, a lip balm and a nail polish. Guess which I chose! ;)

Here it is, my first Sephora nail polish. It's called L15.

They had so many cool colours, but you could only chose from a limited range of colours that they selected. I liked this blue/teal one the best.

The formula looks great and the brush is nice and flat.  I like that.

I'm going back there today. I'm invited to a special event. Hurray!

Sephora in Denmark

Yay! Sephora is finally opening a store in Denmark! This is great news, because a lot of us love Sephora - but they don't ship to Denmark.

Now it happens. On May 9th 2012 the dream should come true!

The first thing I'll be buying is one of these:

They are sooo cute!

Sephora i Danmark!
