Walking down Memory Lane with Eat Sleep Polish: Raspberry Gummy Bear

Walking down Memory Lane with Eat Sleep Polish: Raspberry Gummy Bear

There aren't many brands that I only have one bottle of. I like polishes at least in pairs, that way they don't feel quite so alone in the Helmers. But once in a while I buy that odd bottle that gets to stay single, and this "Eat Sleep Polish" is such a polish. I bought it in a blog sale four years ago. I had plans of buying a sister for "Raspberry Gummy Bear", but I never found one. I don't know if the brand is even still available, so I have decided that it's okay that this one is alone.

The formula is still good and it still covers in two easy coats. It hasn't thickened over the four years either, so it's still a great polish. The drying time is really good.

I made a line and some dots on it, first with Color Club's "Halo-Graphic" and then with "Raspberry Gummy Bear" on top of that.

This is the final result, including a layer of topcoat. I took my photos with flash today because they sun didn't want to come out and play.

I really like the rainbows in this polish.

Here's "Raspberry Gummy Bear" alone; two coats and no topcoat yet.

Eat Sleep Polish ~ Raspberry Gummy Bear

Eat Sleep Polish ~ Raspberry Gummy Bear
Raspberry red linear holo

Raspberry Gummy Bear is my first – and so far only – polish from Eat Sleep Polish.

The bottle is super cute. I love the little cat on the label. The polish is labelled both on the bottom and on the top of the bottle. That’s super smart when you store polish in drawers! Thumbs up for that idea. Other makers should consider to do the same, haha!

The formula of the polish is great and I used two easy coats for full opacity. The drying time was really good.

Here’s two coats and no topcoat taken with flash (because the sun didn’t want to come out and play, boo!)

I didn’t want to cover up too much of this beauty, but fortunately the mailman brought me new stamping plates; what a great guy he is! I used Moyou London’s Holy Shapes Collection-01 and I stamped with Colors by Llarowe’s stamping polish Sparkling Diamonds. I applied a layer of Moyra’s stamping topcoat, ét voilá: The final mani:

I love the look of the two holos together!

Here’s a low light picture. I still really like the colour.

That first bottle of Eat Sleep Polish was a success. Now I need a sister for her, so she doesn’t feel so alone amongst the other brands.
