Born Pretty store Kuncat stamping set, part 2

Born Pretty store Kuncat stamping set, part 2

Born Pretty Store has sent me a nail stamping set to try out for free in return for an honest review. I showed you two of the four plates yesterday. Today I'm going to try out the last two plates.

This is the set. It comes in an awesome looking box:

Inside the box are four stamping plates, a stamper and a scraper, all with the KunCat on them.

Here is the link to the Stamping set:

First one up today is "Born Pretty & Kuncat-L003". It's a plate with lots of little cat designs as well as some background stripes and dots. I love stripes and dots, as you may know by now.

I stamped with purple and white. I double stamped on my pinkie and on my pointer.

I love this!

Here is all the stuff I used today.

Next one up is "Born Pretty & Kuncat-L001".

I stamped different designs on all the nails. I stamped with white and baby pink this time.

I love these minimalistic designs.

I think this is really awesome.

And here are the things I used today.

The verdict:

Pros:
Great designs on the stamping plates
Well etched plates, no problems picking up designs
The stamper is tacky, which is great

Cons:
The stamper is "the old style", as in it isn't transparent, which makes placement of designs more difficult

Today I'm going to try out two of the stamping plates.

First one up is "Born Pretty & Kuncat-L002". It's a plate with lots of little cat designs as well as heart designs. Not bad at all.

I stamped with black and white and chose a different design for each nail.

I think this is really pretty.

The stamps came out crisp and clear with no effort at all.

Here is all the stuff I used today.

Next one up is "Born Pretty & Kuncat-L004"

My base is a lovely yellow and I stamped different designs on all the nails. I stamped only with black this time.

Look how cute the designs are!

I really like this.

And here are the things I used for my nails.

Born Pretty Store Water color nail painting pens

Born Pretty Store Water color nail painting pens

Born Pretty Store has sent me two water color nail painting pens to try out.

The box looks like this:

Here are the links to the pens:

The pen is not put together from the start - it comes like this in the box.

It's easy to put together though.

I wasn't quite sure what to do with them so I painted my nails white. Then I made some stripes with the red, HI08 "Accompany With Me". I also tried HI07 "Stealthy Fog". I couldn't see the last one on my nails at all, but the red one showed up nicely.

Here it is again.

This is probably a great product for people who like to play with watercolours. I'm not a huge fan of pale colours on my nails so it's not a product I'd buy again.

The verdict:

Pros:
Easy to work with

Cons:
I couldn't see both of them on my nails
They mostly work on pale colours

Born Pretty store gel polish: Base coat, color coat, topcoat

Born Pretty store gel polish: Base coat, color coat, topcoat

Born Pretty Store has sent me some gel nail polish to try out.

Today I'm going to test their base coat, topped with the gel polish "Romantic Starry Sky", and sealed up with their gel top coat.

This is the set:

Here are the links to the polishes:

I tried the set on a nail stick today. The formula of both base and top is really good and easy to apply. The coloured gel has a more thick formula and can be a bit difficult to apply in a thin coat. I managed though, and I used two coats for full opacity. Each layer was cured in my LED lamp for 30 seconds. The topcoat is a no wipe topcoat.

Here's what it all look like. The glitter is really pretty and I like the colour too.

 Isn't it pretty?

I applied silver stars on it and applied an extra layer of the topcoat. The extra layer made the stickers feel completely flat.

Look at that!

The verdict:

Pros:
Great formula of base and topcoat
Thick, covering formula of the coloured base
Very pretty colour and effect
Good drying time (30 secs in LED lamp)

Cons:
None
