Ever After ~ V

Ever After ~ V
Wine red linear holo

Today I’m going to show you a beautiful red linear holo from Ever After. It’s a HHC Facebook custom from December 2016. The polish is from the True Blood collection.

Application was easy and coverage was good. I used two easy coats for full opacity and the drying time was really good.

I sponged on some iridescent glitter by the base of each nail. I used Jordana’s Lunar Lights for that. I absolutely love glitter gradients. They’re easy to do and they look great. What’s not to love!?

This is my final mani. Two coats, glitter and a layer of topcoat. The picture is taken with flash.

Here’s a daylight picture, no sun.

And here is V on its own. Two coats, no topcoat.

These are the two pretty polishes I used. I have had the Jordana glitter for a long time now and am really happy to have glitters that can spice up a mani that easily.

V was limited edition and is no longer available.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Really good
Finish: Linear holo
Overall impression: Great colour and good rainbows. I like the quality of the polish

Ever After ~ Treasure of the Chest

Ever After ~ Treasure of the Chest
Raspberry holo with flashes of peach

Treasure of the Chest is a HHC Facebook custom from October 2016. It's also a charity polish that supports National Breast Cancer Foundation.

The formula is amazing! It covers in one single coat but this is two coats. The drying time is good.

The final mani includes a bit of dapping of Color Club's  Miss Bliss and a stamp from the stamping plate UR Beautiful-02. I stamped with a blue stamping polish from BornPrettyStore.

Here's Treasure of the Chest on its own. The picture is taken with flash to show off the holo goodness.

This picture is taken in daylight, no sun. The colour is still beautiful.

Here's one last shot of the final mani. I really like it.

Here are the three polishes I used.

Treasure of the Chest was limited edition is no longer available.

Number of coats: 2, but you can get away with 1
Drying time: Good
Finish: Linear holo
Overall impression: Pretty colour, nice rainbows, great quality

Ever After ~ Fangtasia

Ever After ~ Fangtasia
Purple linear holo with multi-colored ultra-color shifting flakes

Fangtasia is a HHC Facebook group custom exclusive from December 2015 and it is a part of the Halloween True Blood collection.

The formula is good and fast drying. I used two coats for my mani.

Two coats and no topcoat taken with flash look like this:

Here’s a picture in ordinary daylight on an overcast day. The colour is still really nice.

I decided I wanted some skulls on it. The motifs are all from the same stamping plate: XY-P07. I love the motifs on the plate, but you it’s not etched very well so you need to be really patient to use it. I stamped with El Corazón’s stamping polish White.

This is my final mani, including topcoat.

Fangtasia was limited edition and is no longer available.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Really good
Finish: Holo with flakes
Overall impression: Great polish, nice colour, great rainbows!

Ever After ~ Devil in a Sunday Dress

Ever After ~ Devil in a Sunday Dress
Dark red (almost burgundy) strong linear holo

Devil in a Sunday Dress is a Facebook group custom that was released in October(?) 2015. If you google pictures of this polish, you will find that lots of the pictures show a magenta polish. I don’t see my bottle of polish as magenta at all. My boyfriend suggested deep cherry red, and I see it is as burgundy. I’ll let you judge for yourself.

Devil in a Sunday Dress has a great formula and coverage. I used two easy coats for my mani and the drying time was really good.

This is two coats and no topcoat taken with flash. Look at those amazingly beautiful rainbows!

I just love the blue flash!

This is taken in ordinary daylight. What colour do you see?

I stamped on it because I was in that kind of mood. The motif is from Moyra’s stamping plate-02 Fabric Texture. The stamping polish is from El Corazón and is called Apple Flower. There’s a layer of Moyra’s stamping topcoat over it all to seal it up.

Devil in a Sunday Dress was limited edition and is no longer available. I love the colour but I must admit that I’m puzzled over the fact that so many swatches show it as magenta. What colour do you think this is?

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Really good
