Blankenberge is a nice, touristic city on the Belgian coast in the  province of West Flanders.

Like most other Flemish coastal towns, a main characteristic of this one is that it is a national and to a certain extent international seaside resort.

Apart from the sandy beach, there's a structure unique along the Belgian coast: a 350-m long pier, constructed in 1933.

The Albert Canal is a canal located in northeastern Belgium, named after King Albert I of Belgium. It connects the major cities Antwerp and Liège and the Meuse and Scheldt rivers, as well as the Canal Dessel-Turnhout-Schoten.The Canal is about 130 km (80 miles) long and was completed in 1939.

This card will always remember me of the most snowy days in a row since 100 years... and the winter just started... I think all animals must have sufferd also a lot due to this bad weather.

Overijse is a city in the province of Flemish Brabant, in Flanders and is surrounded by an extensive woodlands (Zoniënwoud), with walk- and bicycle paths.
