Gifts Given and Received

My 'arty' friends and I like to hand make something as a gift for Christmas.
So I had my drawings printed onto linen fabric to make tea-towels. The edges were stitched.
These are photos of the actual fabric.

These are images of the design

These are the handmade gifts from my friends

I also made these fabric tissue pouches for other friends. Four of the fabrics are my designs.

Felt Tree Decorations

First of all I would like to say HAPPY NEW YEAR!. Thank you for visiting my blog over the last year and for any comments you may have left, I do appreciate them and I hope you will visit again soon.

These were made as gifts for friends to hang on their trees. They are all made of felt and some have other fabrics too. All were hand stitched and some have extra embroidery and beads. I got the ideas from Pinterest. My favourite is the caravan.

Snowman and Santa

The snowman above was drawn on my tablet, the Santa below was based on a little knitted Santa I made years ago.

I've been painting dolls house furniture and making bedding for them.
Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas or holiday.

Trees, Drawn and Embroidered

above - the background and 'white' trees were done on a gelli plate, the other tree was drawn on my android tablet.

We had a get together with my arty friends to make Christmas decorations using embroidery. I seem to have Christmas trees on my mind. It is still WIP as I'm not sure how I want to finish it yet. The two ideas I have is to cut close to the outer edge of the sewing and back it with fabric or get a little oval embroidery frame to hang it in.

And this is a section of my tree in the living room.
