Good morning all!
(I apologise if you've seen this post before, I scheduled it a
week too early, much to my embarrassment! lol)
Christmas is fast approaching & I've been busy getting things ready for craft fairs
& helping out with bits & pieces for parties etc.
where they are having a month long challenge this time!
I of course jumped at the chance to play along with my past DT friends!
So, I thought I'd share with you some of the bits & pieces
I've been making!
First up, this cute little man !
He's a Sock Snowman.
Filled with rice & made from a single sock, with
some buttons, ribbon & a little candy cane to embellish!
There are lots of tutorials on the internet for these, so you shouldn't be stuck for ideas!
He's been very popular, in fact, I spent last night making a whole little family of these!
Next up, Snowman Poop! lol
Again, there are lots of tutorials on the internet for this & the image I've used
is a little freebie from Whimsie Doodles
here
Next, up, Grinch Pills!
A similar idea but just a little bit different.
For both of these projects, I made a little cutting file on my SIL Cameo.
I'm still getting to know it & haven't played as much as I'd like to but
I'm determined to use it a whole lot more!
Finally, a little Santa Sleigh
A great little alternative to a selection box with lots of chocolate treats!
Again, there are lots of tutorials on the internet.
You can find one on my blog
here.
I've been making these for a few years now & they have proved to be very popular!
I've learned that it's best to wrap the little chocolate bars as when the littlies get
hold of these & pull them apart, the contents go everywhere otherwise.
It also helps to keep them busy for a little longer, unwrapping things!
They also make great table decorations for place settings!
There are 3 fantastic sponsors for this challenge,
&
I hope you can play! I'm looking forward to visiting your blogs!
I've been so busy lately I've not had much time to hop!
