Good Luck

Hi All,
It's been a while but I'm back with a couple of samples I made for
Splash Crafts who've just introduced a cute
Care Bears Range which is amazing!

Here I've made a little easel card & used the dies to cut out the images.

The images & papers are  really versatile & great to work with.
Available in a format to suit everyone, there are stamps, dies, embosing folders,
a papercrafting kit & it also comes on a USB so you can
print & craft until your heart's content.

For this little cutie, I simply used the paper & a sentiment
with some ribbon, lace & a couple of pretty little crochet flowers

Thanks for popping in!
I hope you like my little samples!
I'll be back with more soon!

Shabby Penny Pamper

Good Morning Bloggers!
I hope you're well!
I have this little card to share with you!
I have made a similar card in the past using this image & papers
but this is the shabbier chic version!

Whenever I see her, I start singing "Splish Splash I was taking a bath!"
The proper colour is this

but, when I printed them out, my printer was playing games
& they looked a bit muddy. However, I quite liked the result,
so decided to stick with it! The papers were printed on to matt photo paper.
The Sentiment Ticket is from The Crafty Pad too!

The image was coloured with a combination of Promarkers & Flexmarkers
The edges were distressed with a pair of scissors then inked

The flowers were inked & layered with a brad to secure them.
(These have been in my stash forever)
The leaves & butterflies were punched & inked.
The ribbon I've used was plain white but it also received the ink treatment!

The sentiment ticket was distressed & inked too!
Thanks for looking at my creation!
I hope you like it!

I have candy on my blog here! Do play along!

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Musically Challenged - Any Movie Or Song (Splish Splash as mentioned earlier!)
My Time To Craft - Music or Movie Influenced
Art Impressions Stamps Challenge - Expect The Unexpected (Use Something From Your Stash)

Let's Hear It For The Boys!

Good Morning Bloggers!
Today see's the start of this weeks brand new challenge at
This weeks theme chosen by little old me is
With Father's Day fast approaching here in the UK, we'd like to see
your creations to celebrate either
Father's Day Or A Special Man In Your Life!
Easy Peasy huh??? We'll see you over there!!!

My card is a Father's Day Card.
The Image & Papers are both from The Crafty Pad Designs
One For The Boys Digital Backing Papers.
The base card is A5, made by scoring & folding an A4 sheet of cardstock.
I played about with the layout, adding lots of layers.

The image was coloured with  a combination of
Promarkers & Flexmarkers. I only recently began using
Flexmarkers & I'm liking them a lot!
Think I have to get me some more! lol

The sentiment, is one of the two that come with the image.
(The other is a Happy Birthday sentiment.)
I cut it out with an inverted scallop nestie then matted onto a
scalloped circle of cardstock.
I popped it on some foam pads for dimension then
added a ribbon bow & a little saw charm.
to finish off embellishing my card I added some silver Card Candi.

Cute As A Button

Good Morning all,
A very happy Sunday to you!
This week at The Crafty Pad, it's "Team A" who are bringing you
some inspiration for the challenge this week which is
We want to see at least 3 buttons on your project!
Here's my card!

Aha, I see you're saying "That's not a Crafty Pad Designs image!"

"Correct" I say!

This week we are sponsored by Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps & More

They Kindly supplied the Design Team with some images & are offering a prize
of 5 Digital Stamps Or 4 Digital Stamps & 1 Paper Pack to the winner
of this weeks Challenge!
Wowzers!!!
I used the sketch from

as the basis for my layout!
I changed the shape & flipped it!

I printed her onto some linen embossed card, I like the texture of this!
I used my Promarkers  to colour her up & I've
added a few little buttons including a little button nose!

The papers I've used were a freebie from ages ago
I thought they were perfect with this image.
I lightly distressed the edges with a pair of scissors & some ink.
I then layered them with a contrasting plain coloured  paper.
The sentiment was made on my PC using Cutie Pop font
which you can get here for free!
I also added some pink ribbon & some more of the heart shaped buttons.

I added a punched border which I inked with pink & blue

I decorated the inside of the card just a little!
I'm so glad you managed to stop by!

Bingo!!!!!

Good Morning all,
It's Wednesday & that means it's time for a fab new challenge over at
This week we have a really fun challenge for you!
First of all here's my card!

The Challenge we have for you is Bingo!

I chose the diagonal, twine,step card,brads.

The image is Ted TightEnd
On the football field, he's a bit of a scary character but off the field,
he's a real pussycat!
I coloured him up with promarkers & fussy cut him out,
before mounting him on to the card with foam squares for dimension.

The card base was made using an A4 sheet of cardstock.
I used a Pop Out Step Card Template from
Debbie Lauder over at Craftystash
It's so simple to use & saved on waste too, as there is an elements sheet included!

The papers I have used were a freebie download by Shabby Princess
I think they are fantastic & they were just what I wanted for this card!
I printed the striped paper directly on to the card stock & printed
the template on the reverse.
I cut it out using a craft knife & ruler then embossed the fold lines
with an embossing tool & ruler.
I added the sentiment to the panels in my graphics programme.
The font I have used is called Collegiate & you can download it free from here!

I distressed all of the panels with a red inkpad before assembling the
card & added twine & brads from my stash.
I have to say I was really happy with the way this one turned out!
I hope you like him too! Thanks so much for stopping by!
