Garden Bench

Happy Thursday all!
I hope your week is going well!
I've been mad busy these last few days both at work & at home!
So, it's now time for my latest Just Inklined card!

The image I have used for this one is the beautiful & serene
Garden Bench one of the images exclusive to
This card is for a dear friend who just loves her garden!
As I was making it, I couldn't get a song out of my head!
English Country Garden
My mum & I used to sing it when I was young!

I coloured the image with....wait for it..... water colour pencils!
I've had these for ages but not played with them much!
I have to say, I like the effect acheived with just a few different colours.
The papers I have used are from my stash, not sure where they
are from but Ii I was to guess, I'd say they were Papermania

The corners are cut with a sizzix die.
Not really my thing but I've also added a few little roses from my stash!
You can just about see I have decorated the inside too!
Thanks for popping in, I hope you like it!
I do love it when you come to call!
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Christmas In July

Good moring all!
Today, I'm sharing my DT card for the new challenge at
Crafting For All Seasons, where the theme this time is

My little A6 card was made using one of our sponsors images,
Whoopsie Daisy Sheet 284 the sentiment ticket is by Just Inklined.
The base card is Kraft & I've rounded the bottom corners
with a Woodware corner punch.

I coloured the image with my usual mix of Flexmarkers & Promarkers
I used traditional christmas colours & a spot of glitter!
The image was fussy cut then mounted on to a mat of kraft & DP.
Which I wrapped with some twine.
The DP is from Papermania & has been in my stash since last year.
The snowflakes on it are embossed, I think you can just about make that out!

Another little look at my card, from the side. You can just about
see that the inside is decorated too!
As most of my Christmas cards have to be posted in the UK mail,
I have made this card fairly flat to allow the use of  a regular postage stamp.
Thanks for popping in today! I greatly value your visits & comments!

Summer's Here

Good Morning all! Sunday already!
Today's little card is for The Crafting Cafe where the
challenge theme is Summer's Here!
How true that is here in the UK, I'm just loving it!

Our sponsor this time is our lovely Lindsay

Regular Sponsor

Who provided the DT with some cracking images to create with!

The image I have used is Beachy Fun

I did some paper tearing & added touches of giltter.
The sentiment is from the download too.
This wasn't the original sentiment.I had it printed & cut
but I lost it in a bundle of me stash & though I searched high & low I couldn't find it!
That is until the card was done of coursewhen it just fell at my feet! LOL!
Is it just me that happens to?
The sky is tumbled glass distress ink & I drew in some birds with
a Letraset fine marker.

I decorated the inside of the card too but omitted the glitter as
I find that clogs up your biro when you write your message!
Thanks for popping in!
You have until the end of the month to enter the challenge so
if you haven't done so you'd best get cracking!
